I found this article. It seems to be the same issue your little girl is having. I think you should be really careful about mineral oil. It coats the intestines and blocks nutrient absorption.

Although I don't know much about the production, I imagine that the source is being heavily exploited in order to provide such a large quantity to the world market. I am sort of curious about this. It also must cost a lot in natural resources to ship it so far. I think I prefer buying more locally. It does taste really good though.

Why can't you flush leaves (not that I am seriously going to try it)? I would think they are flushable.

La-Vernonique That is a great song. I used to have a friend that really liked it. Thanks for reminding me of it. I love the song 'Clair de Lune' by Claude Debussy. It is so beautiful and melancholy. It sometimes makes me cry (in a good way) and great when i am feeling blue. I love it on the piano. I have been beginning to realize that when I allow the feelings of saddness to wash

I just wanted to point out that the company "Eden" makes an organic stone-ground mustard made with raw apple cider vinegar. It is completely raw and delicious.

I wonder what is the best type of leaf to use as a toilet paper substitute. That would be hilarious if I started keeping a stack of leaves in my bathroom instead of toilet paper. Friends would think I am losing my marbles.

RawSun, I have been vegan all along. I am raw now and he is not really into that. It is funny because now that I am raw, vegan doesn't seem like such a radical idea to him. For a long time we have done separate things for our meals, but I think if I start making some vegan dishes that will last for a few days, it will be a good incentive for him to eat those things (bring them to work, etc...

Right now I feel peaceful, but sometimes I feel sad and I am not really sure why. It is not for a particular reason. It feels like a heavy weight between my belly and heart. I usually will experience this a couple of times a month and it will carry on for a few days. I usually wish to be alone during these times. My husband sometimes asks whats wrong and I don't know how to respond because it i

I still prefer organic produce. The extra cost is worth it to me. Organic is more nutritious (coming from richer soil), it's less harmful to the producers and to the environment. Plus, even though it is more expensive a collective increase in demand will effect the supply. That will increase the number of sustainable farms in the world. Eating some non-organic things, like bananas for example,

la_veronique - I bought a spray at Whole Foods called Buzz Away Extreme. It works really well. Here it is online. PS. Yesterday, I remembered I had the book"The Secret Book of Home Remedies". It said to try apple cider vinegar. That was soothing and the slight swelling of the bites went down. I will try banana peel too. I heard somewhere that helps skin heal faster. Oatmeal

I am curious what cultures do who don't have toilet paper. Does anyone know? I notice eating a highly fibrous, mostly raw diet has the tendancy to cause cleaner @#$%& without doodie left of the backside. It slides right out and leaves the bottom as clean as a whistle. Maybe a body that is in optimal health does not need toilet paper anymore.

Avocado is great for the skin. I like to rub in all my skin and let it sit for about 10 minutes before washing it off. It leaves my skin feeling soft.

I think I agree with Lightform. I see all life is an embodiment of the universal consciousness, which like energy never ceases and constantly changes form. This consciousness is what I think of as soul. The rat has a soul. The scientists were even amused by it's personality. I imagine it is just shining more dimly, while embodied in this way then say a normal rat. Although it is ignorant to try
