I would predict an AVERAGE lifespan of 100 years old for anyone following a moderately nourished, primarily raw plant-based diet, especially if low calorie.

Quotefresh Funny how monkeys and chimps eat unripe fruit all the time. They don't wait till perfect ripeness Well that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s good for them. Besides, unripe fruit is probably a better option than starving.

"None. There is no evidence of it. No studies, no comparison to anything such as a clean diet and rest at home." Would you not consider the hundreds of positive experiences and reviews as evidence? Can you point me to a study that proves a "clean" diet and rest at home heals cancer, heart disease, depression or type-2 diabetes? I think there's a bit of hypocrisy calling

Quotefresh Quotejtprindl To be fair, that’s simply a subjective opinion about Cousens that has no evidence. I always reply to statements like this with... Post YOUR physique if you’re going to judge others. You must be joking the one that should present evidence of his claim is Gabriel don't try to turn it around. I think if Cousens actually claimed to do 600 pull-ups straight then that's

QuoteThe Sproutarian Man Quotejtprindl I wholeheartedly agree! How would you compare fermented grains, nuts and seeds for probiotics to this product? Good question. I was once reading a scientific study talking about how supplements can miss a large number of probiotic strains. And lets also ask, have all probiotic strains been discovered, and if not, then probiotics from wholefoods wo

QuoteThe Sproutarian Man Quotejtprindl How do you get most of your probiotics and do you get a vast array of different probiotic strains? Some fermented foods contain lots of probiotics but are limited in strains. I try not to over complicate things too much when it comes to diet. Why? Because a diet should be simple and easy to follow. Especially these days l try not to get obsessive about t

I disagree with Clement and Cousens as well if they claim at most one piece of fruit daily. However, I do think that most organic store fruit is sub-optimal and not naturally ripe. In general I think there's only few fruits that are worth being dietary staples anyways... Primarily berries, pomegranates and citrus. It'd be foolish to deny the healing properties of certain fruits.

Also, the happiest countries in the world have socialist characteristics (Scandinavian countries, New Zealand, Canada, Netherlands, etc.). QuoteTai Raw Practicalist, Asian fermentation seems to me to be very wise. Sproutarian Man found a Korean soy dish very rich in B-12, due to prolonged fermentation. The only problem with Natto, other than a strict rawist would oppose it because the beans need to be cooked before culturing, is that it's slimy and repulsive. But sometimes medicinal things are very unpleasant, so that's part o

Natto 1.) Extremely rich in vitamin K2 (menaquinone), which reduces arterial stiffness and promotes strong bones and teeth. Vitamin K2 is rare in the plant kingdom. 2.) Contains nattokinase, a powerful proteolytic enzyme that significantly reduces blood pressure, cleans the blood and breaks apart Alzheimer's plaques. 3.) By far the richest food source of PQQ (pyrroloquinoline quinone), w

Blueberries are rich in anthocyanins, flavonoids, and contain pterostilbene, which is structurally similar to resveratrol but more bioavailable due to the presence of two methoxy groups. Pterostilbene has been shown to induce apoptosis (programmed cell death), decrease proliferation, induce cell cycle arrest, inhibit metastasis, and induce autophagy in cancer cells, eliminate cellular waste, and

QuotePanchito It is easy to get hurt by following 'general principles.' For example, some people would need salt but told to never touch it. All these general principles are not for everybody. People are overthinking too much and missing other important things. Now, some have been sucked in 'science thinking' and also hurting themselves thinking that only good should come out. So, my advice to pe

According to Denham and Skulachev, if we want to live longer, we need to look after our mitochondria. A growing number of studies seem to suggest that one way of doing this may be through a ketogenic diet. Its effects on mitochondrial function are almost too good to be true. 1) It increases mitochondrial numbers: A ketogenic diet has been shown to increase numbers of mitochondria within r

QuotePanchito What you say is true from the nutritional point of view. But from the medicinal point of view, lectins could be anti cancer. If you eat raw oats and feel ok (no sensitivity), then raw oaks could extend your life by killing cancer. That's only assuming that you're on par to die from cancer. A lot of phytochemicals kill cancer cells without the potentially harmful side eff

QuoteNuNativs Ya thats a myth but still: According to the U.N. Population Database, the world's population in 2010 will be 6,908,688,000. The landmass of Texas is 268,820 sq mi (7,494,271,488,000 sq ft). So, divide 7,494,271,488,000 sq ft by 6,908,688,000 people, and you get 1084.76 sq ft/person. NuNativs, The fact of the matter is, this idea that you promote of a food/fruit forest across the world is nothing more than a pipe dream. It has absolutely no basis in reality. It sounds good on paper, but it's not even remotely close to being feasible.
