Hi dear, Good news about the juicer...you got a Champion or which? You are doing really well....don't worry about weight. When I do a little fast, I have learned to not even concern myself with what I lost during, as there is so much adjustment afterwards and a certain amount will come back very readily after resuming eating. Just enjoy your food -- and Juices -- and give your body

Oh, the Happy Dance!!! Hooray for you! That's great! I need to exercise too...you and EA & others are good examples. I think it would really help me immensely for all sorts of good reasons. It would definitely help body out with the detox process...and probably make it easier on me. It would make it more efficient I think. I need to sweat, get the circulation and lymph moving, the he

Good Morning--- Lights out at 10:00, but found it difficult to fall asleep, then woke up at midnight with a full full bladder! Drat! Then, could not fall asleep for a long time, touch of insomnia. *sigh* I feel surprisingly ok this morning even though I didn't get even 8 hours. I was bothered by my hip and various aches and pains. It was hard to watch Amer. Idol because my idol is Me

Wow, that's difficult. I could not deal with that very easily! When I am hungry, that's bad enough sometimes ... like, when I am on my way home from work, sometimes that is when I will have thoughts pop into my mind of cooked comfort filling foods. Luckily for me, I don't have your situation of going home to cooked food (mashed potatoes...omg...I could eat a swimming pool full!) I think wha

Hi all, I felt great today, good energy, good mood. That detox yesterday brought such benefit. Yesterday I could hardly move, and today I felt like dancing. It is fascinating to experience the dynamic of raw foods and what the body is able to do with its "raw materials" minus the toxins. (plus sleep ) 1st thing: Galia Melon (sublime) Throughout morning: banana goji berrie

Hi Meow----good job on the food intake. And I am so happy about your volunteer work. That is such a good thing to do, good for you! The zucchinaghetti sounds good, I used to make it. I thought I had zucchini, and I could've gotten some when I was at the store buying all that fruit! Next trip, I won't forget it! Elakti

Good Morning! I'm taking extra post here to say I feel WONDERFUL! Went to sleep at 9:00, slept 9.5 hours, woke up so so renewed, had massive elimination . No wonder I felt so bad yesterday....my body was throwing off 2 pounds! Yesterday, my tongue looked like a fasting tongue, very coated. Today, clear. Skin is smoother. Thanks for the support. Yes, EA, you do have a lot of challenges too, for your young age, and, Monark, I didn't know you are more close to my age...not that it makes any difference. Anyway, thanks for the good words and I agree that support and sharing is a good thing for us in this process of rawdom. That said....... I feel not so good. I FEEL weak, exhausted, sometimes nauseous (b

Also want to add---I have cravings for melons, watermelon, papayas, oranges, and cherimoyas....I guess sweet juicy fruits. And water. I need to go to store for some of these things. I'll eat a couple oranges, I have those. Try cherimoyas if you haven't yet....taste kind of like Juicy fruit gum...they are so sweet and superb! Oh, my mouth is watering for a cherimoya...or 3 perfectly ripe

I woke up feeling lousy, all hot and clammy with a very distended abdomen and feeling very non rested. Feel that heaviness in my body, like my tissues are saturated with yuck. That's how it feels. I watched movie "Million Dollar Baby"...I had wanted to see it, and was so excited it was on, even tho it went to 11. But, oh, it depressed me and I could not sleep afterwards. Not a

Oh, Meow, I hope you can rest. I hope you go to bed early and get a nice long sleep. It will help so much. Your body will do so much detoxing while you sleep and you won't have to "be there", LOL. Good luck with your mom's frustration. It is difficult when people around you don't understand these principles. You are absolutely right about the excedrin. Stick with it. You'

Hope you feel better!!!! I hope your gourmet kitty doesn't hog all the bananas! After this session of detox you will feel better than ever, probably. Getting rid of toxins is good, even if it doesn't feel so great. Thank goodness you have a day off, how lucky is that. You---rest! Sleep! Elakti

Crazy thing, I wasn't even scheduled for work today, there was a mix-up, but there I was! So I just worked 3 hours and came home. That flubbed up the Cilantro thing, so I'll just have to wait til next time. Or, maybe you and I, Earthangel, can go there one day for lunch. Home, first thing I did was eat a salad because I had only had fruit throughout day until home at 3. That in itself is a

That food sounds so good! I almost bought blueberries the other day, but they were 6.99 for small basket. I am craving blueberries. I feel almost like I am craving that COLOUR. Always have loved blueberries, ever since childhood. But, I did buy some cherries ( 6.99/lb). My flower garden is more and more purple flowers, anything in blue and purple shades...with yellow and orange, touch o

Thank you sweeties, getting your support was just like warm food, LOL, I mean a good cherimoya! Really, thanks. Yeah, a roadside stand of tomatoes, heh heh. Good idea. I hope surfers are good tomato buyers. If all these plants grow and produce...Earthangel, you won't have to buy tomatoes. They are organic heirloom, should be good. Big tomatoes. That's cute, a pop up reminder to go to

I got good exercise today, gardening for hours. After 1st gardening session I ate lots strawberries. Soon after that, I had a very good salad---romaine, tomato, olives. After another gardening session, I had a small head of red leaf (from garden) with red bell pepper. Later I made a fruit salad: honey mango, banana, pear, coconut. More gardening and chores and I made guacamole and a

I second that notion---why eat it? There is so much to discover that you find palatable! You don't want broccoli, why force it? If you can't "stomach it", it might not be so good for your stomach! I think rawfoodism is about raw natural PALATABLE food and nothing should be forced as in "shoud do". Simple! Best wishes, Elakti

Hi Monark---yeah, I know what you mean, I've also been saturating myself with rawfood this and rawfood that, online, books, etc. Trying to keep up with housework and gardening! Already have done a lot this morning, and need to go back outside and continue planting ... still have more tomato plants to find homes for, and calendula, and cosmos, and borage, and more. I had planted a zillion seeds

Saturday morning Went to bed too late (11:30. was watching a cute movie on chan. 309 and I wanted to see the end, could not keep my eyes open, just literally sinking) and woke up early (5:30...full full bladder woke me up) and couldn't go back to sleep. I suggest in all sincerity that you do a lot of reading about rawfoodism, and natural hygiene to gain more of an understanding of what this lifestyle is all about. No other creature has to worry (meaning they wouldn't even if they could, heh) about what nutrients they are getting, they just eat their natural diet. Raw foods--fruits, greens, etc--comprise our natural diet. And this takes care

Well, I am proud of myself for heeding my signals---I took a nap and slept for 2.5 hrs. Nice. Now, to try to go to sleep earliesh tonight. I didn't go to the Ranchos potluck...too far away and I didn't feel that swift today. I am a little disappointed though...it would've been fun (if it had been closer) and I would like to meet Earthangel! Another time. I did get a little energy go
