Good Morning Monark! So glad you're doing so well Smiles and smiles to you. You say you really like the carrot celery juice...I think celery is an excellent thing for you as it is very high in natural sodium and besides that it is such an alkalinizing and nutritious wonderful thing for us to eat. I'd experiment with celery everyday (maybe you do already) because it may help knock out tho

I had a very good day today, good energy, felt bubbly. Compared to yesterday, wow, what a flip side. It seems like I ate a lot for dinner, but now I am hungry again. I don't feel bad about having 2 1/2 avocados today...I was craving them. Probably craving the fat. Right now, these early days, it is nothing but a good thing. Good fat, with elements I can use. I was eating much much worse f

Inaia-- You sound really good. Keep up the good work! I had a dinner of guacamole that I ate with romaine lettuce leaves, .5 tomato, and celery...and there were 2 avocados in the guacamole! Two! It was so so very delicious, I was so hungry, and I am just going back to 100% raw, and it is perfectly fine with me. I may have the same thing tomorrow! Anyway, just reading your journal

Hi Meow! Sounds like you are really settling into this rawfoodism and yet are also on the alert for changes...and you are sure changing on the inside too. It is so neat to read such things, its the other dimension to this way of eating and changing ourselves on all levels. The mind and body are so related. Besides the gross physical diseases that toxic "food" causes, it also affec

Must post-script-- I feel GREAT! I can imagine a conversation between my rommate and I when she gets home from out of town: "You mean you wake up at 5:30 and post on the internet all your oozings and eliminations!?" "Well, yes, everyone understands why I talk about it." "Are you all fruity?" "Well, some more than others..." heh heh I

Hi Starfruit**** hope you're feeling fine and all is welll! Is your name because you love the actual starfruit? I have never had it...once only did I see it at Whole Foods, but I didn't buy one since they all looked so overripe, but I regret that! I should've gotten one anyway to taste. Anyway, I just like the name all by itself, fruit or not. I have tasted a few of the more unusual

Hi-- I don't have any answers per se, but I can tell you I've experienced that. I had never had anything like excema or psoriasis before, but I did get itching and dry flaky areas when I first tried raw about 4 years ago and it was very psoriasis, etc, like---as it is labeled. I guess it is some sort of elimination. I don't know what of, from where, etc. It was a mystery to me then and now

Sounds like you're continuing to do great and you are up up UP! I think it is interesting that your progress with rawfoodism is being reflected in your songwriting. Joe Alexander (he wrote an interesting and entertaining book called "Blatant Rawfoodist Propaganda" is an artist and he talked about the changes of clarity and vibrancy in his artwork after he was raw for awhile. Hi Dulset, I hope that treatment helps...maybe this acupuncturist will get to it. I love acupuncture, and I believe that with the right person you should get relief. I know how frustrating that is, to have such a condition and then have to consider an alternative that is so against your grain. Try hardest not to take the heavy drugs. Good good luck with this treatment! AS I said, my t

Hi. Norman Walker, who was a big proponent of juicing (and who lived a long time), extols the virtue of carrot juice, particularly. It seems to be the juice that most people drink the most of. Walker says that this carrotty colour (he says "sheen" actually has nothing to do with the carotene in the carrot, that if you drank the same amount of any vegetable juice, the same colour wou
