meat might be the easiest to give up at first. But for me, dairy and grains were more my problem foods. I was one of those people that did better on low carb diets. Not promoting meat..but it didn't make me feel fat, sluggish, bloated and congested and mucusy like a bowl of cereal would. When I went through of a period of consuming more and being on an icecream binge I started developing "As

Don't see why not. I'd be more likely to just juice them right away.

What does the garlic and onion debate have to do with Orthorexia? Feel like I missed something in this thread. It's about avoiding anything that you see as "unhealthy" not anything particular. I think it started with the whole high fructose corn syrup thing. A lot of people have dropped eating products that contain it over the past few years and they lost money out of it. Now we ha

I just use whfoods.com and enter it as whole food. The only thing that really changes is the lack of fiber. Nutrients vary from fruit to fruit anyway so I don't worry about it. If I juice 1lb of carrots.. I put it in as 1lb of carrots. There's probably more accurate charts in juicing books. I know there was one in the back of Dr. Normal Walker's juicing book..but not sure if it was for who

You can do this with Fitday but you just have to enter it manually and do your own calculations and math. I have a few things that I do this with so I can just enter it as one drink. I use FitdayPC though which is a bit easier..it's free if you're into pirated software. The only other one I can think of that might do it is DailyPlate.com

durian rider has something against everyone that doesn't eat the way he does. He tends to dominate the board but that doesn't mean his way is the only way. "potent nutritional powerhouse"... whatever that means. Every website trying to sell something and make a buck claims they have the newest and best superfood with zillions of claims. Any thoughts on ketosis if using raw/vegan/non animal fats? I know some people on another forum were using fat while fasting to keep themselves in ketosis and lose more weight.

I was actually using lemons too.. I liked adding it to some of my water. I don't know about an electrolyte balance.. I didn't feel dizzy or any of the typical symptoms. Caffeine withdrawal is possible but I had cut back on that a long time ago and slowly. I probably have it once a week. I've read 80/10/10.. Just can't stick with that diet for many reasons. Actually, one reason being that f

Do you think just making sure to drink enough juices every few hours would prevent it? Like a glass of carrot juice every 2hrs or so?

They're like pulsating, throbbing sinus headaches of some sort. Odd thing is my mother had one the same days I did and I was convinced it was just something in the air like the cat litter or something. I even went on a cleaning spree and tried a new brand of litter and then went outside and to the beach for a few hours..but clean, fresh air was not helping me. I decided to eat chocolate..which

I find once the bottle gets opened and it sits around for hours..days.. it tastes plasticy or stale. I started using one of those anti-leech glasses and pouring it in there and it actually stays tasting the same. Any idea why that is? I'm not sure who makes the bottle..LifeIonizers was putting it out and I bought it at a co-op but it's not on their website.

I don't have Candida but thought you might find this forum helpful somehow.. and Old topics. But the forum has been closed of "new threads" for years to make people search and reply to the topics already there. I'm not posting to say that you should fast. I just thought it might be an interesting read since that fast/cleanse is based off of lemons and maple syrup or lemons

lol. I just wanted to say I feel your pain. It's freezing here in MA! You'd think we'd at least get a month of "fall" to ease into the cold but no. I um ate a semi-raw soup. Some veggies overcooked and others were still raw-ish like carrots and celery.

How long ago did she quit pot? Maybe some kind of detoxing program will help. Sleep problems are typical pot withdrawl symptoms. A detox program might not work though if she's still drinking alcohol. If anything, I'd think lots of water/fresh juices/smoothies would help throughout the day at least. Tamukha Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I think eating b

It really depends on which way you want to eat "raw". I'm not into the mockied cooked food thing like dehydrating for raw chips and making raw pizza. I don't even cook COOKED food so why would I want to do all that for raw? I love my blender that's about it..but I did on cooked too. Just realize that everyone isn't eating the same and it doesn't have to be so complicated if you don'
