Have you ever met some guy that started talking to you and one of the first questions you're asked is if you "cook" ? LOL. This guy did at Whole Foods this morning. I think he was less interested when I said no. It's OK, because even if I did cook.. that question would be a turn off anyway since apparently he's wife-shopping. Hey I don't clean either unless it's my own mess.

I'm eating raw but there's really nothing I want. I have no appetite.. it's actually a PMS symptom for me. Wondering if I should try fasting.. I have a whole shelf in the fridge of greens and fruit.. Just not interested. Edited to add - Cooked doesn't interest me anymore than raw. So that's not it.

Eh, then it becomes like pot. Grow your own, keep it silent and you don't get caught. The people who get caught are the ones who sell it. So grow your own food, don't sell it and you win.

I found this thread interesting.. Woman's breastmilk is so sweet from all the fruit/811 that her toddler has decaying teeth and Dr. Graham just basically says it's OK because they're "milk teeth" that will fall out anyway. Have to say I disagree. Nothing healthy about having that decay/rot in your mouth for a few years until they fall out. I also don't think Dr. Graham looks th

No. I've done long juice fasts. 50+ days. Felt so great just kept going. Eventually, despite the amount of calories.. started getting hit with intense hunger pains that were just intollerable. I tried ignoring it for a couple days playing the "detoxing something" game but I lost taste for the juices even with the variety. The hunger pains went away when I ate food again and even raw

lol..why do you even bother clicking them? I can't imagine how bad it is based on your comment. What a joke..how can anyone take this guy seriously with comments like that? And why is this guy allowed to spam the forum on a daily basis? He's ruining it. I know I'm not a popular poster but I don't even want to come here anymore because his sn is all you see.

I can see how that would be true. Cleansing/Detoxing makes you sick/nauseaus at first. The first few days of fasting can have you stuck in bed the whole time.. And wheatgrass is supposed to

I've had good wheatgrass and nasty wheatgrass. The kind that tasted good to me..tasted like the SMELL of freshly cut grass from mowing the lawn. The nasty kind.. was just really bitter and sour and I don't know how else to describe it. I'd guess it's what pee tastes like. I guess my advice is.. if you really want to drink it because you believe in the benefits or something.. then mix i

I'm just surprised anyone takes Wikipedia seriously. I'd be more likely to read it it was from another source. I've seen so much crap information on there. My favorite was the guy from some famous band.. posting on his blog asking who wrote that crap on him because it was so wrong..even his birthdate was off. LOL So why would I believe anything diet related on there.

It's on the main site though.. people probably come across this website by *accident* and read a bit..see a poll and take it..which is probably where the 0% comes from. I clicked 0-25%..because some days I'm 100% raw and then I have my off raw days and I just feel like a fraud claiming anything higher. LOL

Just the Greenstar and a citrus juicer. I've actually been using the blender to juice and quickly straining the pulp. It's so much faster to do and clean. I'm still "transitioning" back to raw..I guess once I really get back into it I'd be more into using the Greenstar. The blender takes less than 15 minutes to blend/juice/strain/clean.

Once on a "juice fast" I somewhat cheated with 2 bottles of Kombucha. I was on a 2hr drive and stopped in a Whole Foods along the way..Whole Foods doesn't actually sell anything "fresh" that's fast safe. I have to admit I felt somewhat drunk by the time I got home. That was a freak day though, like I said.. i was actually on a juice fast with no food in me for days/weeks. Tha

I seem to be more hungry at night regardless of what I eat or don't eat during the day. I'm thinking of juicing all day and then eating or blending a big meal at night. I know breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal but I am fine on just juice. Even when I do eat food or blend - I am hungrier at night.
