Thanks man, Im going to try the deep breathing and meditation. I gotta calm that nervous tension! I think I will try including a modest amount of salt for the time being until I improve more. Maintaining hydration is critical IMO.

Ha ha, female Stephan Hawking was the voice! Anyhow I've been trying to improve with herbs and they do help some. I can feel the difference but it's seems to be not quite enough for me. I ve been using an herbal tincture for the endocrine glands, containing these herbs: siberian ginseng kelp astragalus root chaste tree berries saw palmetto berries parsley root alfalfa leaf prickly as

Alcoholism and heavy meat eating often go hand in hand. I don't need any data to convince me there is epinepherine in meat. Just my 2pence Chris.

I hear people say this often but really I have no idea what they're talking about. It sounds like hogwash to me. If people are finding fruit "ungrounding" then they probably are having blood sugar swings or haven't allowed their body a proper detoxification. IMO

Fresh- I will have to agree with you about the Brian Clement stuff. He tricks people into thinking he is scientific, but he isn't.

If you do opt for the surgery, don't forget to check your b12 levels before and after and consider a herbal program to support your adrenal glands. Anesthetics can really suppress your adrenal health. Good luck with every thing man, I will look forward to a PM.

Hi Geo You will never be able to recover well or rebuild tissue while your lymph system is congested, end of story. Period. This is the key! Do you have brown or blue eyes? If you can email me a close up picture, I may be able to tell how bad the lymph is.

Fruits and veg also have some fat. Ill agree with you about the kids coco, they may need more than 1 avocado depending... on their size, activity level, etc. But an adults brain is alredy built. For me its enough, I dont even care for fat much.

Many people who follow 80/10/10 claim to have the best mental clarity of their life. The complaints you speak of, all disipate after a little detoxification. Most of the people making these complaints are newbies who haven't read up much on the topic. 10% fat, may include up to a whole avocado per day, which is plenty for the brain. The brain needs sugars more than anything else.

Will have to agree with Powerlifer, I would look to the adrenal glands, especially if she is bipolar as well. So any herbs for the adrenals will be good, except you should avoid licorice in the case of high blood pressure. Other than that, a low fat fruit and vegetable based diet should help stabelize the blood sugars.

Hi Paul I always recomend to people "the Detox Miracle Sourcebook" by Robert Morse, because I truely think it is one of the best books ever written on health. Also it explains detoxification really well, which few people really understand, it would seem but many of us encounter when going raw. Also I would recommend The China Study, although its not a raw book, it would provide s

Hi Geo, I would definately suspect the nuts and fruit combination causing gas. If you have really strong digestion, you can combine anything, unfortunately thats not the case for most people.

Unfortunately theres more to diet than nutrition! And thats something the institutions will probable never understand. Alot of the reasons for eating raw aren't all about nutrients, ie hydration, digestion, cleanlines(non toxicity), consevation of energy etc... Someone can eat all the RDA's for nutrients from whole foods and it can still be an unhealthy diet. All im saying, is you can tell th

Didn't have time to read the whole thread, but Im going to have to agree with Bryan about the poisonous nature of inorganic sodium chloride. Definately dehydrating! eat a spoonful and see what happens! (don't actually you will get sick!)
