Hey Marcos, Thanks.. I also drink Yerba Mate daily, and was thinking about cutting it out of my diet as a result of caffiene. What's your feeling on Yerba Mate, why do you drink it? Are there more health benefits than negatives to it? I find that there is a dependence on it, and if I ever end up wanting to live in the woods for a month, or just not have my body telling me it needs the pick

Marcos, What else do you take besides E3Live? I just started taking it and find it wonderful. Do you find that E3Live is sufficient as far as delivering what vitamin and pure synergy could? Thanks..

Hey Everyone, I'm wondering about your opinions on green powdered drinks. Specifically VITAMINERAL GREEN. It seems to be the leader in the raw food world. My question is, are they worth it? They claim to have tons of superfoods, and alot of wonderful greens in them. But when you actually injest a serving of say 2 tablespoons, how much of each ingredient could you actually be giving yourse

Hippocrates stopped using rejuvelac because they couldn't tell if it was fermented too much. However I make my rejuvelac and usually drink it right after it's done, so I don't let it sit and ferment too much, therefore I don't run into the same problem. So I still drink it and love it. I think at a large institute they were probably making large quantities to accomodate guests and would have co

Here's an amazing Nori Roll filling (rice substitute).. Spread this on a leaf of dry romaine ontop of the Nori sheet. I use the romaine so that the moisture from the vegetables doesn't break the Nori. 1/3 cup raw tahini 3 tablespoons unpasteurized miso of your choice 1 Tb agave or honey 1 clove garlic minced or 1/8 tbsp garlic powder 1/2 tbsp ginger minced or powdered 1/3 cup scallions mi

You may want to check out Victoria Boutenko's book "Green For Life". She sheds alot of light on the combination of fruits and greens together. If BLENDED well, before ingesting, you are in essence pre-digesting it with the blender, and breaking the food down in such a way that you are getting alot more effective nutrients out of the foods. It is important to note the subject of this p

I'm realizing it's not gone, it's just operating on a much more pure and dormant way. It's easily recalled at my request, rather than unexpectedly and as a distraction like it sometimes did in the past. Balance is nice and freely obtained as long as I make positive choices in all areas of my life, not only diet. Thanks for the tips.. I'll try and incorporate them all, except the porn.. thanks

Thanks all.. Starting to feel better tonight.. My fever as down.. I haven't been hungry in 2 days because the friggin food is still in my colon and stomach! But I managed to eat a big greens salad.. Learning to fly, you said it well... My body was pretty clean and everything was functioning on a pure level, I added toxins and the tolerance to the toxins was gone so I felt it big time.. Ally an

Gotcha.. Even transitioning, it's hard to consciously put something in your body that is labeled "toxic". You know? I don't eat alot of fruit, it makes me spacey. So I'm just coming to the realization of the limitations of my acceptable food inventory. It's tough, but not impossible.. Thanks!

You know, as far as the sprouted beans being toxic, that's just really bad news to me.. I just got into sprouting beans, and found it enjoyable, and filling.. Sucks.. There is so many things that are bad for you out there.. You know I'm sure you can find something bad about everything we put into our bodies.. But wait, doesn't the quote you wrote (i'm a poet), state that sprouting can ma

Ok.. I thought to myself, have a cooked meal once in awhile.. Which I don't think is a big deal still. So I have a HUGE order of brown rice, and Panang Curry. Followed by a bunch of chocolate chip cookies. My stomach felt like I was about to give birth. I felt ok, just painfully full. It's now two days later. I have been struggling with fevers of 101-102, sweating, cold, hot, the WO

Just kidding about the reward.. No seriously, I've been Raw for 5 weeks, and have noticed my sex drive is almost non-existent. I don't really miss it either. Maybe my unhealthy lust drive is what has depleted. Has anyone else noticed this? Excuse me for being blunt on the subject, but it is a pretty important one. I'm noticing I don't lust after women like I used to. Maybe this has

Ok, I'm going on week five of eating 99% RAW. I had a slip 2 weeks ago, (lentil soup and steamed brocolli). But today and this week have been really beautiful.. I'm eating alot of sprouts, veggies, dark leafy greens, sprouted seeds, nuts, etc, and while I am digesting these gifts, I imagine digesting the life force and living energy of these foods and joining them with my spirit. Although, i

Thanks Ally.. I have found nuts and seeds to be a saving grace when the cravings kick in.. I'm feeling pretty good lately.. I find sprouts and live food, really give me a boost that motivates me to continue on this way of life. I saw you post about raw wheat germ. Are there any negatives to it? It is still wheat right? I could see it being nice, to give you that full feeling..

Any raw foodists out there who also like to do distance running? I'm really not into marathon distance any more but between 5-10 miles. How do you fuel yourself? I don't like eating fruit for it spaces me out. Is there anyone out there that is a distance athelete on the Wigmore/Clements/Cousens raw diet? What do you eat before a run to gain energy? Jeff

Have been hearing alot of great things about Energy Soup. What gives it the energy? I haven't drank it yet, but hear about a nice vibration that you get from it.. (not high or anything, but a good feeling of sustained energy) Does anyone drink it often? Is it the rejuvelac that gives the kick? Peace Jeff
