I often drink water, exclusively. The amount depends almost entirely upon how much fruit I have eaten and how active I am that day.

I figured I would pass along my thoughts on some raw food that I purchased, in case anyone else was considering buying them. I bought both the "Oh, So Fudgie" Raweos and the Luscious Lemon Swirls. "Oh, So Fudgie" Raweos: I would like to preface this by saying that I love coconut. In fact, I have been known to sit down with a coconut and a knife and polish off the whole thin

I do have a dehydrator, but I am still learning how to use it. Once I am able to know what temperature and time to use, in order to achieve my desired results, I plan on experimenting a bit more. I tried dehydrating my own peanuts, with some sea salt and they tasted horrible. Either I just do not have a taste for raw peanuts or I did something wrong. I figured since I was starting out, I wo

I figured I would pass along my thoughts on some raw food that I purchased, in case anyone else was considering buying them. I bought both the Living Nutz Cina-Pecans and the Living Nutz Banana Bread Walnuts. Cina-Pecans: I was pleasantly surprised by the Cina-Pecans. While the texture is obviously nothing like a cinnamon bun, the similar taste was more than enough to satisfy my cravings. My b

So, I finally got some raw peanuts and was horribly disappointed. I both tried them "raw" raw and dehydrated, with seat salt. I guess they are just not for me. Thank you again, for all of the replies.

Thanks for all the replies! I am still 100% raw right now because wiggle room only encourages me to wiggle as much as I can (just my own personal limitations) and I am not ready to try less, at this point. I was just asking to see if I could use up the frozen vegetables I have in my freezer or if I should give them away. It looks like someone is in for some yummy frozen veggies...

This is probably a silly question, but are frozen vegetables really raw?

Thanks for the update, Brett. 5 Stars, eh? I'm going to see if Natural Zing has anything else I'm interested in and then place an order.

Thanks for all the responses! I was hoping to make some sort of peanut butter that actually tasted like the PB I'm used to. I'll start by researching aflatoxin and go from there. Do the Jungle Peanuts taste like the regular ones?

I believe you may have the wrong idea about what eating raw means. As others have suggested, you might want to research it a bit more. I recently went from a vegetarian to raw and I was surprised at how much food I needed to cut out, in order to be raw. Having said that, everyone has their own way of doing things. Some people, like me, need to jump in with both feet and not allow myself any w

If I was not raw, I know exactly what I would be eating... Barilla PLUS Rotini or Angel Hair with olive oil, garlic, and Parmesan cheese. I have tried the squash spaghetti and, in my opinion, it just does not compare to the real thing.

The only negative thing I have heard about raw cashews is that most of them are not really raw, so you have to be careful of who you buy them from.

Thanks for the reply, Ian. I think may have to. For some odd reason no one seems to be making sweetened cashews. I would think they'd be a popular flavor.

…for Honey Roasted Cashews. I have found plenty of raw cashews online and several different raw sweetened/glazed nuts, but I cannot seem to find any raw sweetened/glazed cashew nuts. If anyone knows of a place to order them online, would you please post a link for me?

Thank you both for the advice. I am still learning what, exactly, counts as a "raw food". As you mentioned, David, everyone seems to have a different idea, which makes starting out a bit overwhelming. Anyway, I am going to head over to the recipe section and start making my shopping list for this weekend.

Simply put, I am not currently disciplined enough to eat healthy on my own, so I have chosen to force myself into a healthy diet. Luckily, I was semi-vegetarian before I began my raw food lifestyle, so I have not had too much difficulty adjusting. Anyway, I just ordered a bottle of Eliki Balsamic Vinegar and Organic Olive Oil Blend, so I can have something "normal" to put on my salad
