I was SADly toxic (pun intended) prior to attending the Optimum Health Institute of San Diego. After their three week program I was totally detoxed, 100% raw and an expert in sprouting techniques. I really felt half my age when I left there. I attribute it totally to the raw/fermented food diet, wheatgrass shots/enemas and exercise.

Years ago I made rejevelac but not with wheat berries, which did taste yucky. I used rye berries instead. Made properly it taste like sour lemonade and is good for you. It's fermented naturally and as naturally made sauerkraut, it provides beneficial bacteria to the intestinal flora. I have the recipe here somewhere if anybody wants it, but the recipe is Googleable.

WY that Crystal Quest will cost a fortune in filter replacements. I opted for THIS water distiller which I've had for five years. The water is sweet and soft to the tongue. The cost of electricity to distill a gallon of water is about $.33 compared to $.99-$1.39 for distilled water in plastic bottles from the market. Cleaning the heating element once a month is cheap and easy. The only filter is

My diet is right on the money and I'm outta there in record time. I take wheatgrass ememas a few times a year. Then on the other side of the spectrum are those SAD folks who take twenty minutes or more and stink up the neighborhood. YEIKS!

I think you're being overly paranoid. In the past I've had open bottles of flax and hemp oil in my fridge that went past the expiration date and they were just fine. Since yours is still within the date...open it, enjoy it then refrigerate it.

Yes anything is possible but IIRC respiration (breathing) and exercise trend the body to acidify. IMO it's better to be overly alkaline since the body trends toward acidification then being in an acidosis condition and needing alkaline foods. Extremes are not good in either direction.

So the purple figs are Mission figs which I've had for the past few weeks from the market. Then today I noticed a green fig tree in my friend's back yard and to my luck over fifty (>50) figs were ripe. So we picked then and neatly placed them in an oak wine box. Boy are they ever soft and sweet. As sweet if not sweeter then the purple Missions. Then I noticed a plum tree in the neighbor's yard

My wrinkles just about disappeared after going raw. The additions that made the most difference were raw fermented foods like home made sauerkraut plus avocados and flax oil.

An easy way to monitor your calcium intake is to use pHydrion Paper daily. Pee on a small strip and compare the color to the chart. If the pH paper indicates an acidic condition then you're not getting enough calcium. Staying on the neutral to alkaline side is what we strive for. Sure you can check your saliva, but that's what's going in. Checking what's going out tells you if you have a calcium

Gargle with whiskey. JUST KIDDING! My dentist offers two ways to clean my teeth (plaque and tarter). Manual scraping or high pressure water spray. I always ask for manual scraping. Yeah, my mouth is usually sore for a day BUT is so much cleaner...it's worth the temporary discomfort.

I saw in Safeway packages of fresh dates by Hadley of the southern California desert. They had all varieties...Zahidi, Deglet Noor, Medjools and Honey Dates. Prices were great. You know I stocked up.
