From what I understand, the questioning of uricase is also under constant debate. It's more confusing if you really want to discuss that..but let's just say there are two sides to that point as well. I'm just making light of both --to be sure not to claim one as correct, as they are both theories. yes i have read his book, but again, i like to know both sides of everything; so i love the boo

yeah, but not all bodybuilders take steroids; my mom is into bodybuilding and she has one of the most common "standard healthy" diet and she didn't take any supplements when she competed so wherever you draw the line to natural i guess; but let's not make it seem like every body builder who doesn't eat fruit is roiding or looks fat + muscular, you know? you look good though!

yeah steaming you loose abouttt...11% of the water-soluble vitamins -- in the water, but if you use the water, you're using the straight up vitamins that were "lost"; and cooking beans is said to make them more digestible. I know it de-activates something in legumes..some kind of toxin, I forgot what it was called. cooking anything brings out other vitamins to an active level and

to Ron: i eat my salads just with a simple dressing of blended fruit - and cut up fruit. yum. no oil or vinegar. (also, not all salad dressings are bad..and filled with chemicals) Anyway, fresh: you said meat sources don't drive evolution like "meat propagandists" said..but you don't have any proof of this at all; plus, i'm not talking about meat propagandists, and i'm not siding

i do not think pizza and coca cola is everywhere..or at least definitely not the staple of many diets.. Also, it being completely different today then thousands of years ago, the future will probably know that pizza and coke aren't typical foods for us. These are also subcategories of foods compared to that of "meat" and "plants" generally. yes there are other things that

i guess nothing i wrote was taken into consideration.. pizza and coca cola is not everywhere, and every human is not doing it. When we branched off from apes, our diet had to be different in order for us to evolve even more -- if we had stayed constant with our diets, there is much evidence suggesting there would have been no evolution - typically in the brain. Yes, they are hungry, and it m

fresh, that article is not very scientifically sound and only states what I've already taken into consideration. The science behind the human opportunist is very intense, and very in depth. Just because we do not look like a lion does not mean we weren't hunter-gatherers for thousands of years --when we developed better hunting tools. It's a shame to say even over the last 10,000 years the exp

I'd like to make a statement that whole foods are not always the only way to go - even chimpanzees are known to literally "juice" their greens and discard the pulp if they do not wish for the extra fiber. I wouldn't live off of juice, but don't feel guilty about juicing a carrot if you like carrot juice.

people are naturally opportunistic eaters...that's what makes us able to survive --we have a wide range of foods that are able to be eaten - and while even our closest ancestor (chimp) seems to eat tender greens (i've seen them do it with both meat and fruits)- there is no one perfect diet, such as fruit, no matter how much you may love it or hate greens, for everyone. So even though a fruit bat

believe me, it is allll about leaving out ALL processed sugar.. There definitely is a huge difference between sugar and the sugar in bananas and dates (two very sweet fruits) . I was only eating sugar added in foods like cereals (blindly of course; thanks american food producers..), and I had this extra weight on me that was so annoying and i could not figure out how to get rid of it. I am al

ok..still..you would have to EAT your feces, not small microscopic amounts of it. I mean, it said these chimps ate their feces. They ate it. We don't do that. Being clean probably is not the main cause of people dying.. dude. animals get diseases too, it could just so happen that the ones that are hit with disease don't actually die from the disease, but they're too weak to run away from th

liberation, you would have to do more then not wash your produce is what the site (that i posted) was saying - it said chimps in the wild eat their own feces to get B12. So you would have to grow your produce in your feces, not wash it, and also eat your feces. And maybe some bugs. How down to nature do you want to get?

i definitely don't eat it, but i think if you're going to eat it, and you care about the bees, you should try to get the best quality, local, know the bee farmer, and try to make sure his bees are well kept and not effecting the overall drop in bee population that we are experiencing.. kind of like if you're going to eat eggs, make sure they're organic and free range..you know? And know the far

depending on what it looks like, a white tongue could mean a couple of things Candidiasis, chronic illness, dehydration, poor oral hygiene, or an immune deficiency order if your tongue is red it could be a B12 or folic acid deficiency if it's sore, it could be from anemia or diabetes anyway.. i believe what the body does are warnings, and should be looked at as if there is a possibly a pr

fennel and mango is pretty good together you can chop it up and make a salad, perhaps with apples; i'm pretty sure that's another combo worth doing..with some sort of dressing and other things thrown in there.

would body fat ratio change - in women though - ? possibly more easily since men tend to burn fat easilier because of naturally containing more muscle mass and more testosterone which = more mitochondria (power house cells) so a women might see a difference compared to a man?

I was checking into B12 just now because I was worried I might have a deficiency, and found this interesting link, it talks about how *wild* monkeys (captive's levels dropped significantly) get it (wild monkeys pretty much eat their feces and dirt. yeah, I would rather not), and how it doesn't matter if you get B12 from meat or from a vitamin supplement - it is only a bacteria; hence vegani
