Smoothy most days. (greens, fruit, superfoods) Though occasionally I'll have a pinapple.

I got this idea from a Mike Arnstein video. Basically if you have a large sandwich box or container with a lid, put all your salad ingredients into it and shake it about until its all well mixed. Then simply scoop out onto your plate and eat. Tossed salad I guess, but its made my salads much more pleasing than the usual predictable straight onto the plate method.

I echo your sentiments OP. Since you are single, try giving up porn/masturbation. This will free up more energy thats usually wasted.

Might sound like an obvious question, but does this apply to bananas, mangos etc?? rather than leaving them in your pantry is it better to leave them on the windowsill?

There is no perfect excersise for raw vegans. It will depend entirely on you and your bodies needs. Some raw vegans are good weightlifters, though I am awful with them. Diet is irrelevant in regards to what excersise you like doing.

Ive been checking out some nut soak charts online, and.. What I dont get is the difference between soak times.. Walnuts for example have a difference of 4 hours. Cashews have a 6 hour difference. Which is the correct soak time? Im a little confused.

Are you saying leaves are easier to juice than root veggies? seems quite contradictory. But Im looking to juice starchy root veg like beets, carrots, radish etc.

I've found a juicer in UK for £40.. though this seems kinda cheap to me, ie the juicer will break down pretty soon. What kinda price range shall I look at for quality and durability?

thanks for the replies! This person isnt bad at all, but behind their pleasant front I feel an anger and bitterness that kinda just irks me. When he's with me he's recklessly insulted other people we know, and I know he's done the same to me when he's been with them. People like that I would rather avoid. He eats junk and doesn't excersise, his anger comes from all the tension he carries because

How do you deal with toxic people in your life? friends who you like but have a bad effect on you? One effect of going raw for me is to prefer solitude more than ever.

Yes raw foodism for me is very much related to the spiritual path and detoxing from the materialistic way of life. I seem to be much more productive when I'm fully raw in the ways which matter.

Ok, so if a recipe says to 'puree' im ok to blend? not sure what I did wrong though, ITALIAN TOMATO BASIL: 5 sundried tomatoes soaked 1 C tomato chopped (about 1 tomato) 1 garlic clove 1/4 C fresh basil chopped 1/4 C water 2 Tbl balsamic vinegar 1/4 tsp sea salt *Puree Smooth... It wasn't bad, but not exactly the tomato basil sauce bought from the store. I take it C means cup?

Sorry for the noob question, but what does puree mean? I recently tried a recipe for raw basil sauce but destroyed the attempt by blending the ingredients, which I thought puree meant.

#1 most important tip is to buy a blender and get into smoothies. Smoothies are imo the perfect transitional tool from eating junk to raw. I never even intended on become a raw foodist, but the benefits I got from getting into smoothies sort of just snowballed into full on raw. Buy a blender tommorow and check out victoria Boutenko's green smoothy books.

Listen to your body. Though the absolute worst combination I can warn you of is sweet stickly fruit like bananas and dates, with starchy vegetables (carrots, radish) Combining these in the past has made me fall into a black depression, terrible cramping, flatulence, brain fog, headache.. you name it. I pretty much become incapacitated if I combine these foods. Everything else though I have

There seems to be an anti 811 vibe lately, Im just curious as to what exactly about the diet people find does not work. Is it simply the lack of overt fats? Is too much fruit sugar a bad thing? Is it the lack of suppliments/superfood? 811 gets a lot of critisism for being unsustainable in the long term, but is not all that different from the 'standard raw food diet'.
