I agree with the carbo-comatose quote.. Raw is where the health is at, not simply not eating animals products. Most cooked vegan stuff is still gonna be refined and processed and not really good for you in the way uncooked, whole plant foods are.

""But this detoxing is knocking me over! The past few days, I'm exhausted, my eyes are cloudy, I'm craving crap (and not eating it), irritable, constipated (bowel movements are thick mud/sludge... sorry if that's TMI). And all I want to eat is fruit/greens in the form of a smoothie, which is pretty much what I've been living on"" ^ You arent suddenly immune to these symptom

'the Sunfood diet success system' maybe an update of what you're reffering to, as Superfoods, eating for beauty and naked chocolate are the only other books hes wrote (and co wrote natures first law)

Try monomeals (monoeating) ie eating 1 type of fruit/veg until you're full. Not all your meals have to be elaborate, gourmet stuff. Much easier on digestion too.. poor food combining is serious business. If Im in a rush to go somewhere.. I'll take 3-4 bananas.. or a small bagfull of mixed cashew/raisens.

David Wolfe - his sunfood book is THE raw book imo, his enthusiasm justs bursts off the page. Durianrider - used to dismiss him but he's really turned me onto fruit and is a good advert for 80/10/10.

Anyone read this book? what are your thoughts? it essentially outlines how the pharmaceutical industry is supressing natural (non patentable) cures to maintain their monopoly on the prescription drug industry. I highly reccomend it, along with watching the free movie 'a beautifal truth' on youtube. Big Pharma has no interest in eliminating sickness and disease. What an ugly world we live

duh.. wheres my head.. cant beleive I made that mistake. Ive always been a sucker when it comes to juggling numbers. I thought the 10/10 part of 80/10/10 would make protein/fat intake equal (ie 1g of fat per kg). If 1g of protein per kg is the RDA standard, what would the 80/10/10 equivalent be?

Right I forgot about the difference of gram/calorie in terms of mass.. thanks for that. Protein and carbs are both 4 calories to a gram with fat having 9 to a gram.. thats what I didnt factor. I weigh around 55kg, does that mean I need around 220g of protein a day? meaning I'd need about 10 avocado's to fullfill protein needs? I take it 1g of fat per kg should be daily intake aswell? W

I need about 2500 calories a day for my needs.. I am a 27 year old athletic male. 2000-2500 kcal is easily enough to support my energy needs. So regarding my protein intake, 10% of 2500 is 250.. am I correct that I need 250g of protein a day? (maximum) So hypothetically.. an average avocado contains 3-7g of protein.. does that mean I'd need to eat 35 avocado's a day just to get my protein

Yes what suncloud said about setting benchmarks I've found also.. ie work your way up to raw vegan one step at a time. Once your well established in one ie vegetarian, work up to veganism.. then onto raw. But there are minor things to 'benchmark' ie give up soft drinks for good and drink only water and juice. Once thats done, move onto something else. Slowly build up confidence in your resist

The very first hook was Mimi Kirk, who at 70 years old could pass for a late 40's. She put her youthful looks down to green smoothies. So I looked into green smoothies and found Ms Boutenko.. and at this point I never wanted to go beyond the realm of smoothies. But I read more and more and came across David Wolfe's sunfood diet success book.. and WOW.. Houston we have lift off...that was 2 ye

That video is neither funny or clever. It was made by Durianrider who used to post here.. Durianrider makes such a big deal of healthy compassionate, loving vegan living.. but has no problem investing his time and energy into sour and nasty, mean spirited pieces of trash like this. there are ways of critisicing people you dont agree with. Although I think Durianrider has the right idea about
