Thanks Rob, I guess I'll be wearing ear plugs for a while; cotton wool soaked in olive oil. But nothing could be noiser than the bomb I have, surely? But does the l'Equip break cell walls, thus creating a superfood, like the vitamix? well it's about 1/4 of the price atleast...

How important is it that the cell wall is broken down for nutrition and absorbtion. is it true that the vitamix is the only blender that can do this?

i eat a lot of other sprouts too! although some people think that they are not healthy. are sprouted peas nice in a smoothie? i only use quinoa or buckwheat sprouts in smoothies, oh, and sunflower greens sometimes. the other sprouts i eat in salads or other savoury dishes. i make homous too.

yes i add spouted quinoa to my smoothies too. I add about 1 tablespoon of sprouts, so I'm not getting that much protein, although it's qualitiy rather than quantity! How much are you adding djatchi?

their recipe suggests 3-5 weeks for fermentation! It wasn't alot of effort. It was fun to make.

I made my first batch of sauerkraut.....but I'm not sure if I over fermented it. I t tastes vinegery, which is good,but i didn't add any salt, just cabbage and a dash of water. I left it for 7 days, since it's winter and cold in my kitchen. I am worried that I could be eating mould or something harmful! Maybe I should have added a little salt for a preservative. Should I have checked it every day

What quantity of quinoa sprouts will give me 20g of protein (not sure of that in ounces)? Say, 1 tablespoon of dry quinoa, then sprouted would give me approximately how much protein? Thanking you....

i used to have soy protein isolate powder daily, a few years ago. the protein made me calm, but my breasts became hard as rocks- excess oestrogen. i rarely have any soy now.
