I eat raw chickpeas sometimes, but do not like them. Hummus... made with zucchini-- that sounds great!

Just curious, has anyones sleep patterns changed since they are raw? I feel like I need more sleep lately especially when I am more compliant. Probably not a bad things, however, I am interested in hearing others opinions. Thank you Michele

Does anyone have a good estimate of what a raw vegan single girl would spend per week on groceries??? I have no idea if I am undernourishing myself becuase of being in school and not buying enough food. thoughts? also, I live in WI and produce is not inexpensive, but not horribly priced either. I would say average. thanks so much!!

I have been exercising 6 days a week for about 8 years.. very rarely do I take time off, so the soreness is definitely not a new thing. I think I just have been under alot of stress with school. so, I need to find a balance.Extremes are not good, but I am clinging to the cardio workouts which I have read can make someone hold onto fat from cortisol levels... not sure if this true, but my frien

I am trying to figure out what to do for exercise as I age. I am doing much better with veganism since the support, however, I find myself sore after doing intense cardio. But, on the other hand, I love it and it gives me a healthy rush. I am going to try yoga again, but would like to hear others who are working out, how much and what do you do? Here is my intentions.. take one week off of

This just clarifies my beliefs even further: 1- I ate 3 small salads today but felt bloated.. did not slow down and chew properly. 2- I need to learn how to stop eating out of boredom or stress. 3- I need a flippin blender for heavens sake or a chopper. 4- I need to accept myself as I am and stop comparing to others. Thanks for the beautiful reminder Peace

Wow... really interesting. I noticed a big change in my hair and eye color when eating raw. However, my hair was darker and my eyes are lighter.. is that typical?

Thanks for the reminder.. sounds like what I go through. I am going to try the spit test again. I am pretty much low carb, so if I have it then it was definitely from fat. I am just as confused or I would help you out. I keep thinking that sugar is not for me.. but everyone is different. what is your typical diet like? Do you eat vegetables that are relatively low in carbs as well? I know

ok The rainbow diet is not the same one. Gabriel Cousens recommends way more veggies versus fruit in phase 1. I seem to gain weight and feel sluggish with alot of fruit. However, I do think I need to be patient and go slowly.

you think the rainbow diet is starvation or the bloodtype diet? Geez, I am so confused.. I emailed you. I wish someone would just tell me why I feel the need to have to eat according to my bloodtype. I think when I am raw, I feel best!!! However, I must be lacking something for me to keep wanting the fat or protein. Does this get easier? I hope so! I am not giving up.

110. exercise
So, I am wondering if others here do intense exercise.. like running, aerobics? yoga? Some of my friends are telling me that exercise is not a necessity especially if I am not eating alot of food. I seem to not want to workout as much when I cut back and stick to the raw plan. Tonight I did 3 classes at the gym, but I feel like it set me up for a binge. I am not sure if working out is as g

OMG, I would not go to the bathroom for days if I had 2 or 3 bananas. Hmm... I need a blender.

Great, this helps. Now I just have to implement it by practice. I think my issue is that I eat all day long instead of just sitting down and enjoying the meal. I am working on it, but when I am bored, I eat. And.. doctoral studies can be isolating and boring!! however, luckily, I am only snacking on veggies but then I get bloated if I eat too many at once.
