in this modern idustrial world, raw fat is a vital neccessity, protecting us from all the chemicals everywhere, keeps you vital and strong (without it you become emaciated, haggard, and have no resistance to the elements, and no long term energy!) coconut oil is amazing, experience it yourself!

Well Basia, greenie, and David had good advise anyway. I concur! Coconut milk/cream OR nut/seed milk (to slow sugar uptake/metabolism) and as for sweetener maybe a little stevia or agave nectar?

David Mason has the best advice! I also would chime in that adding liquid rawfoods is a good way to transition to a healthier diet. Raw fruit and/or veggie juice is easily digestible/absorbable even if your digestive system is compromised (as yours seems to be) and it blasts you're body with nutrients. Also, because your sensitive to sugar, try adding a dash of coconut oil, hemp oil, or oli

I think the numbers posted above are hogwash. Im sure the source is accurate etc... yet these terms have been confused with reality and are often absurd!... 1). Calories: A calorie is the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of one gram of water one degree Celsius. The caloric level is determined in a bomb calorimeter (chamber where substances are tested, oxidized and ashed

Have you browsed stephen Arlin book Raw Power. (he does push alot of supplements, no kudos for that) but one recipe recommended is nuts/seeds ie. macadamian nuts and sesame seeds mixed with lots of cilantro or parsley. Also power smoothies with blue-green algae, bee-pollen, and/ or HEMP POWDER.

How many grams is an avocado? I'd say about 2-5 avocados worth of avos, nuts/seeds, coconut, olives, durian, oils, and fattier fruits like bananas

most soy beans are GE, and all beans are toxic raw. Soybeans particularly have a high level of toxin called phytic acid or phytates, that block the body's uptake of minerals like calcium, magnesium, iron and especially zinc.. also enzyme inhibitors, hemagglutinin a clotting agent "Although the act of fermenting soybeans does deactivate both trypsin inhibitors and hemagglutinin, precipitat

The books mentioned are exeptional! 1) Drink as much juice as your body can enjoy! Fresh, raw juice will "re-educate" your body on how to digest whole foods and fiber! Try a small shot of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar before a meal, this will boost HCL acid levels and help with digestion (consult your physician first) Other sources of fat could be: avocado and oil, coconut and

Hey, Ive been raw since 2001 (havent been on this board for awile). What I would say, in short, about fermented foods is: -can be good, can be bad, or both. -raw fermented foods such kim chi (saurkraut), raw seed cheeses, kifir, and miso can be good sources of probiotic bacteia and vitamin b-12... however ferments are not good for anyone with candida, fungus yeast or mold issues, and can c

DONT EAT MEAT (especially raw) some will argue but come on now!!! Organic is worth the extra cents. The less you eat the more you'll start to cleanse. I suggest starting with raw juices and smoothies. This will start to build your digestion to be able to digest real fiber. Just add, thats the key, smoothie instead of morning coffee, big delicious salad for lunch instead of turkey sandwhi

How long have you been a "fruitarian" 100% raw? I don't think that fruit only (especially sweet fruit) will sustain a healthy body in the long run. For the summer yeah, but what fat do you eat? If you really are 100% raw fruitarian then it seems to be working for you for now. I'll check back with you in 6 months...

her digestive system is definitely compromised! I would try many different raw fruit and/or veggie juices until you find the ones that your system will accept. I agree with the idea of fasting on water as part of a healing program. I would also suggest looking into digestive enzymes *vegan and probiotic supplements *raw. -good journey
