It sounds in part like what Sapoty Brooks' capnak chart and accompanying book is about. I don't have the website that covers the basic concept.

It's a pretty safe bet that the person referred to in the original post is not currently living a lifestyle consistent with the general principles shared by members of this forum. When all is said and done, despite the differences in underlying philosophies behind how to carry it out, the bottom line of the general spirit here in the forum is to strive to live according to natural laws and princ

I've heard that colloidal silver has been helpful to some people. However I've not personally met them. Strictly speaking food-wise, some swear by wheatgrass juice.

When I'm driving and have several routes to choose from that are relatively close, I gravitate to the ones with the most greenery. Even passing them by at driving speed, it is still enough to somehow infuse me with a sense of natural energy.

Looking forward to the follow-ups on the green smoothie/ frozen wheatgrass experimentations. I enjoyed them and tried a few combos based on some of those postings. Welcome back.

This email was forwarded to me. Given that there are a few topic on the environment currently on the forum, I figured one more wouldn't hurt. Enjoy... This is an actual letter sent to a man named Ryan DeVries by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Quality, State of Pennsylvania. The guy's response is hilarious, but make sure you read the State's letter, here, fir

Years ago when I attempted to grow carrots, I was unsuccessful because cats kept eating the tops off. The same thing happened to someone else who planted them in her yard. Cats belonging to neighbors (that were well fed, not stray ones) also went crazy about them and wouldn't leave them alone till they finished them off. Who knows what about them that attracted the cats!

Well said. It would be great it this article or a thought similar to this could remain at the top of the forum, especially to encourage newbies or others who are trying to wade through the sea of conflicting information on this lifestyle/ way of eating.

Inquiring minds would like to know ... If true, maybe it could be a matter of brain/body connection. If the brain of the subject in the photo continually saw a yet to be slender 'after', it probably is/was their hope that with time it could materialize into a literal one.

Everyone comes from a different background, with a wide range of emotional and health issues (whether through lifestyle choices or based on the surrounding environment), as well as an even more varied dietary history. Expecting a one-size-fits-all approach to fit everyone is not realistic, practical and in my opinion a very simplistic approach. For instance, from a SAD background you can fi

Seems to fit in with statements from Arnold Ehret and others that says in essence that by making changes and shifting the body towards normal habits we are designed for in the first place, then it will be able to sculpt our form/shape back to what it should have been all along. Others have indicated that the beneath the bulges and gobs of unsightly layers of fat is the real us, just waiting for

When I've reviewed what I've eaten during the day when I've had vivid dreams and read the ingredient labels, it consistently involved non-raw processed food and interestingly enough always included MSG type flavorings (usually called by the others terms associated with it). It evidently excites neurons in the brain to stimulate those vivid dreams. Guess that's why they're referred to as exito

I recently tried wheatgrass, celery and parsley prepared in a k-tec and was surprised at the flavor the blend produced. Not strong, not bland but just right.

This USDA site (from usda.gov) also allows you to input food items to get a breakdown of ingredients. You don't get additional interpretations of your intake that may be available on some of the sites mentioned above. MyPyramid Tracker at mypyramid.gov also allows you to keep up with your calories and other nutrients from your dietary intake.

Some SAD foods seem to function as 'anesthetics' of unpleasant emotions, some of which we may not even know we are harboring, sometimes for years and even decades. Withdraw the anesthesia, in this case, by eating more foods we were designed to eat in the first place and elevating the quality of energy being supplied to the body's cells and voilá, the old stuff resurfaces and is relived whil

The issue to focus on isn't whether or not we ingest parasites and/or their eggs. As made clear above, if we're living breathing creatures, at some point we've already done so or are doing so now. Eating raw in itself isn't the problem. If that were the case, then animals in the wild who don't cook (actually which of them do?) should be seriously afflicted. Whether meat eaters (lions, tig

Usually it's not just one item that we're addicted to and have a hard time letting go. If stopping everything cold turkey is too challenging for now, then consider weaning off one item or a group of items in the same category at a time. For example, if addicted to coffee, sugar, candy, bread, cookies, caffeineated beverages, try weaning off the sugar/candy group first without resisting the ot
