So your therapist is an idiot,
but
why does it bother you so much? you might wonder...and wonder...
after all,
you could be spending the hour happily exercising outdoors, as you and Bryan suggest, if you fire her.
I too wonder what the idiot therapist looks like.

why not keep it simple?
why not skip a few meals? especially when the gut is already upset
then after it calms down
why not temporarily eat mono meals of whatever healthy food you enjoy at that time?
and listen to the body and learn from it. Noticing how you feel while eating and after.
In any case I would take probiotics after a colonic.
Then take your time and learn about food combining

David-I think we agree on what to us are the essentials. I like to grow an organic vegetable garden and would like to have an orchard some day. We, and probably everybody participating at this forum, find cruelty repellent.
I simply wish to point out what we already know, but tend to forget, which is that in this world compassion is an achievement and not a norm and therefore as much as we mig

It seems to me that the idea that people would find eating animals repugnant if they had to raise them themselves or kill them themselves is simply the result of our being more or less middle class Americans, who haven't travelled much, and possibly living in a more or less small urban area.
All over the world people eat live bugs. With gusto! Still wiggling!
And the markets of many c

Everyone is advising caution, because you are admittedly interested in the emotional and physical high, and fasting while good for Health if applied judiciously, is damaging if used regularly for emotional, or other reasons.
You are of course free to do what you want, but you did ask for advice, and now seem to want to argue; it would seem the more you want to argue the more correct the advice

Arkay thank you for the interesting post--
as for garlic--if i eat it the taste irritates my mouth all day-(so it seems strange to me that it's considered medicinal).
I believe that it is this irritating quality that is the cause of "spices" stimulating the appetite, and that this is necessary on the cooked food diet because the processing has homogenized the food into a boring undiff

not morally bad...
but notice how you feel the next day
frequently folks notice
some of the following:
stuffy sinuses
stiff fingers
creaky joints
headaches
cramps in toes
bloated stomach
desire for more cooked food
and on the day it was consumed even some raw foods are problematic for me:
endless thirst
if raw onion was eaten.
and endless appetite
if raw garlic was eaten.

Sorry about all the stress
Diet is not everything...
Some things to wonder about:
1) Do you have someone to talk to that you trust?
This is very important. If there is no one, find a support group of some sort.
Going thru what you're going thru requires real person to person support.
2) How do you KNOW you have hypoglycemia? Eating protein could simply be slowing down detox. Hard to kno
