I have sprouted organic garbanzo beans and they're delicious. I lightly steam them and eat them without .... refunding anything afterwards.
I do agree with the original poster that garbanzo beans require a lot of attention in terms of frequent washing; otherwise they tend to smell bad (but still sprout).

I want to get your opinion on my mother's health issues as well.
For the past 3 years she's been troubled by allergies. She lives in Europe but came over to the US to visit us and we took her to a very famous allergist. He did some tests and said she was unusually allergic to a lot of things, including most kinds of fruits and vegetables, dust, pollen, etc.

Thanks for the response. Being a raw foodist myself and practicing the things you mentioned (as much as I can), I know the value of your opinion.
My dad is currently taking some medication but his condition is not aggravated or anything. Did your friend take medication? Did he stop it afterwards and when exactly?

Hi, guys!
I wanted to ask something. My dad, a non-raw guy of 65, has had some prostate trouble. It is enlarged but not malignant. He's been taking some medication for over a year. During a recent visit to a doctor he was told that a surgery (transurethral resection of the prostate) was needed to reduce (or cut out) the prostate gland.

I have the K&K grinder and juice press. They are two separate machines: the grinder and the press. I have used them for 3-4 months but now don't have as much time for juicing, so I would like to sell them. I also have brand new juice cloths. I think the price of the two machines is around $1,400-$1,600 from the manufacturer.

The manufacturer does not have a website, and I believe they have relocated to Minnesota (from California).
About a year ago the manufacturer was selling the grinder itself for about $1,200 + $300-$400 for the juice press.
At any rate, I'll be glad to send pictures to whoever is interested.

When you say GreenStar, what do you refer to? Is it a juicer or a sprouter? If a sprouter, is it the EasyGreen Automatic Sprouter?

What's your experience/opinion? I am considering it for growing leafy sprouts (alfalfa, sunflower greens/lettuce, etc.) and stuff but no wheatgrass. Is it good?

Hi!
My mother has allergies. She got tested and the doctor said she belongs to a very select group of people that are very allergic to a lot of things. She cannot eat most vegetables and fruits.
