I have sprouted organic garbanzo beans and they're delicious. I lightly steam them and eat them without .... refunding anything afterwards. I do agree with the original poster that garbanzo beans require a lot of attention in terms of frequent washing; otherwise they tend to smell bad (but still sprout). rc

Bryan, How much does a consultation with Doug Graham cost? As far as exercise, sleep, and activity, my mom's fine. She takes medication for her underactive thyroid (I believe it's a hormone pill) but no sleeping pill. Actually, I forgot to mention that she also has high blood pressure so she takes something for that as well. She worries and that is a problem. Both my brother and I liv

Bryan, I want to get your opinion on my mother's health issues as well. For the past 3 years she's been troubled by allergies. She lives in Europe but came over to the US to visit us and we took her to a very famous allergist. He did some tests and said she was unusually allergic to a lot of things, including most kinds of fruits and vegetables, dust, pollen, etc. So for the past 2

Bryan, Thanks for the response. Being a raw foodist myself and practicing the things you mentioned (as much as I can), I know the value of your opinion. My dad is currently taking some medication but his condition is not aggravated or anything. Did your friend take medication? Did he stop it afterwards and when exactly? Thanks for your time and attention. Best, rc

Hi, guys! I wanted to ask something. My dad, a non-raw guy of 65, has had some prostate trouble. It is enlarged but not malignant. He's been taking some medication for over a year. During a recent visit to a doctor he was told that a surgery (transurethral resection of the prostate) was needed to reduce (or cut out) the prostate gland. Does anybody have any friends/acquaintances that h

I am thinking of starting a small business selling raw tahini to European healthfood stores... I was wondering about the price you guys pay for it... and whether you think there's a demand for it beyond the raw food movement... Thanks a lot for your time! rc p.s. Rob, do you know the name the Spanish company selling the raw tahini?

Yes, of course, but I wanted to offer it to somebody here before posting it on Ebay. The type of person who would buy it will most likely frequent these types of forums anyway. If somebody is interested, please let me know. Thanks, rc

Hello fellow raw foodists! I have the K&K grinder and juice press. They are two separate machines: the grinder and the press. I have used them for 3-4 months but now don't have as much time for juicing, so I would like to sell them. I also have brand new juice cloths. I think the price of the two machines is around $1,400-$1,600 from the manufacturer. I am offering them for $850, which

The manufacturer does not have a website, and I believe they have relocated to Minnesota (from California). About a year ago the manufacturer was selling the grinder itself for about $1,200 + $300-$400 for the juice press. At any rate, I'll be glad to send pictures to whoever is interested. Thanks, rc

When you say GreenStar, what do you refer to? Is it a juicer or a sprouter? If a sprouter, is it the EasyGreen Automatic Sprouter? thanks, rc

Does anone have the EasyGreen automatic sprouter? What's your experience/opinion? I am considering it for growing leafy sprouts (alfalfa, sunflower greens/lettuce, etc.) and stuff but no wheatgrass. Is it good? I know there are people who have used it, so plase post your opinion. Thanks a bunch!!! rc

Hi! My mother has allergies. She got tested and the doctor said she belongs to a very select group of people that are very allergic to a lot of things. She cannot eat most vegetables and fruits. She's also very sensitive to wheat. Her diet has been composed of rice, potatoes, occasional eggs, and a couple of vegetables. This has been going on for almost two years. She has been getting
