If it weren't genetic then we would all be identical. There are tons of inheritable genetic traits in the human body, including disease. It also makes sense that metabolisms are inheritable. I wouldn't expect a thoroughbred and a drafthorse to metabolize food the same, nor would I expect a greyhound and a pug to metabolize food the same. So why should we expect people from different genet

I don't know the reason why. Probably money since I don't live anywhere near salmon runs or agricultural areas. The city sends out water quality reports annually and every few years there is a little reminder that we cannot collect rainwater or we will be fined. The hilarious part is that I live nearby to a huge man-made lake! Every winter the county has to drain the lake (open the valves)

It's true. I live in one of the rainiest states of the US (WA) and cannot collect the rain water. Well, let me rephrase that... I 'can' collect it but then will be charged a fine by the county. Stupid.

You can eat a low-budget cooked diet that does not include a lot of processed foods. It is simple... shop the outter circle of the grocery store and do not go down the isles. The fresh food is typically the outter circle and processed foods are in the isles. Simple. It is all about making healthier choices. Are there addictions in the family that could be eliminated to free up money for he

At 4:20.... Hahahahahahahahaha! Hilarious. Squatting is good. Nasty dirty shoes on a public toilet seat - great news for non-squatters. Not sure even the seat covers could tackle that nastiness.

Man, that was an insane amount of food in the blender! I, as an engineer, cringed as he was pounding it down around the blades. Certainly would be a fine video for selling the vitamix as a sturdy product!

So many mixed emotions about this article... Wow! Cool. Amazing opportunity to study healthy diets. Great! Why is he walking on a tredmill when he lives on thousands of acres? Impressive diet! Wish he wasn't such a jerk to people regarding diet and weight. Lucky! Darn, he's a developer. Ambitious! Cool. I really want some of those cookies.

Madinah you have stated that you eat very little solid foods and at least 80 percent liquidarian diet. That is YOUR choice. You have stated that you consume non-organic produce and use it in your liquidarian diet. That is YOUR choice. A high pesticide, low-fiber liquidarian diet is not one that I would choose for myself or any of my loved ones. That is MY choice. And I won't be convin

Fiber should not be maintained at a minimum in a healthy diet. Those studies were with SAD eaters using wheat fiber supplements. Bah. In any case, fiber plays a vital role in our health and claiming that it should be maintained at a minimum is ridiculous. If you are going to make those sort of statements HERE then please post links to a study that shows a liquid fiber-free diet is a healthi

I like the Federal govt managing welfare programs (medicare included) and I like the federal govt regulating schools. In a country this large there has to be a system of continuity and equality across the nation.

While I agree that fraud needs to be stopped, I strongly disagree that we should not have programs in place to help the needy. We are a society and like it or not there are members of every society that need assistance or are disable and unable to provide for themselves. What choice do we have but to care for them? I have lived in many countries that did not care for it's disabled and thos

Med - Your machine isn't chewing either... it is juicing. No fiber. Unfortunately for me I care what you eat and how you treat your body. But I concede that you are entitled to consume all the pesticides and fiberless juice that you want. I am at peace knowing that we tried to educate you to the dangers of doing so in excess.

I probably would have called the cops and followed them until the cops located them. Or something equally out of my mind and ridiculous. Poor little girl.

Low fiber = high risk of colon cancer. Nature's food in a natural form is the best food for the body. We have teeth for chewing and a digestive tract for digesting. Perfect set up for munching on fiber foods. Removing a vital component such as fiber from the diet is very risky to your health. Remember... if you don't use it, you lose it. What will happen to all those teeth if you don

It doesn't matter what country they're in, some people have just lost sense of humanity when behind the wheel. Yesterday on the 5-lane freeway I was driving with my auto set on cruise at around 5mph above the speed limit. There were two lanes to my left and two to my right. A big semi came up behind me and started honking and flashing his lights to get me to move out of the lane. A total of f
