Straight half-and-half would be disgusting. I shop with my brother sometimes and am literally appauled at how much milk, meat and cheese he buys. When he complains about the prices that gives me a chance to drop little health hints such as "Have you ever considered just not drinking milk anymore?" or "Wow, you could buy 3 pounds of broccoli for the price of that steak!"

I kill fish. Really... I can't keep them alive no matter how hard I try. I try to do everything right -- the right pH, the right temps, the right lighting, chlorine-free water, the right food, etc. I still kill them. I have friends that have the skankiest gross tanks with fish that have been alive for years. So as a rule fish are banned from my house. They're safe that way.

Make sure your next fish gets a fishy friend too. A friend to swim with and keep it company through the years.

I can go weeks without a shower. I like to roadtrip and camp so I have gotten out of the habit of showering daily. What I mean is... I don't feel "icky" when I haven't showered so it isn't on my priority list sometimes. Especially when I am on an adventure. I haven't shampooed my hair in forever (a year?) and I love the softness of it, not greasy at all. I don't use deodorant becau

It doesn't matter if I am raw vegan or a meat eater... always low iron anemic. In my case - and likely yours - supplementation is best.

I would set her in a pond or bury her in the underwater mud of a pond. Not in the dry earth. I would feel badly knowing the aquatic spirit was buried in the dry earth without water.

Adorable. (But staged... from the description I expected the surroundings to be more spontaneous vs planned and staged.)

Um... her motive? I'll quit heroine if you start heroine 'cause I know you're gonna love it and get hooked. Then we can do heroine together when I fail.

I have used them when I had to due to traveling in various countries, and while I like being squeeky clean the logistics of getting dry afterwards is too time consuming. LOL Have you seen the Saturday Night Live skit about a bidet? Funny.

Curator... BTW, I didn't post in this thread to have a debate with anybody. I posted my opinions and you feel the need to refute my posts. I don't want to debate with you because there is nothing you can say that will change my view. The severely obese should be allowed the same clinical help that any other eating disorder or addiction is provided. This isn't a debate forum. It is much n

Remember, the obese are just people with a problem. He sought medical treatment and was refused the referral. He has the right to sue.

He is suing because he was not given the treatment that he needed. In trying to look at this case from a different perspective... it is unlikely that an alcoholic that went to his doctor and asked for a referral to a rehab center would get referred to a dietician to teach him to choose water instead of whiskey. Or a bulemic would be referred to a dietician or be casually told not to binge e

Not if it only covers 3 strains of the many strains currently active, and is only 70+% effective. It would be nice though if it could be done.

On the flip side... an anorexic or bulemic would get help with their eating disorder. They could even be checking into a facility that would give them the 24 hour a day counseling and help that they needed. They would be taught how to deal with the emotions and thoughts that cause them to abuse their bodies with food. Is this man's eating disorder much different? Or his addiction to fats/suga

Maybe it is normal. This sort of thing happens all the time but it doesn't get mainstream media attention. But at this moment in time... the media is out looking for and reporting on this type of event so it seems as though there is a greater incidence of these type of events. For example... occassionally the sky will rain frogs and it is a natural and common phenomenon but not something
