Kwan, you are gorgeous! I can't believe you are 57. You look wonderful. Thanks for sharing. Love your short hair. I am a "short hair girl" as well, but am currently growing it out...not fun!

The best tool? My strong husband. I can tell you what he does...uses a really big cleaver, and whacks the coconut one time, then rips it open with his hands. But before whacking it, he pokes a hole in the top and we drain the milk out. And here is a link where they talk about young coconuts, and how to open them:

LOVE them. And my daughter would eat one everyday if she could. But they are expensive here, so I only buy a few each week. She loves to just put a straw in them and drink the water. Sometimes she shares it with us. Then we make smoothies out of the meat and whatever water is left. I also try not to eat too many because of the high fat content.

Some people from my office will be in Miami in March, and I really want them to bring home some Durian for me to try. Where could they go to get one for me? And, would it make it home on the airplane? How big ARE they? Durians look huge!

arugula, I bought an 8oz bag of the raw cacao nibs about 4 months ago, and it's still about half full. I have to be very careful with how much I eat because it keeps me awake at night. I only eat about 2-3 nibs per day. So if you are anything like me, an 8oz bag will last you a very long time!

So when you use oxypowder, how "urgent" is it when you have to go to the bathroom? I don't always have the option to just get up and go to the bathroom right away, so I am afraid to try it!

Sadly, no, I have not made a career out of my raw food lifestyle. I am in accounting. I only work a few hours each day though, which is perfect. I get to spend time with my daughter the rest of the time!

BFF - I feel like I am in high school again when I hear that. It cracks me up. I do not have any friends that eat like me. I have lots of friends from my Yoga classes that eat vegetarian or vegan, but I am the only raw person in the group. Oh, and Ian - BFF = Best Friends Forever.

So then what is it that is going on with my body?? Why do those symptoms go away after eating some food? If the symptoms didn't go away, I wouldn't think they were related.

All I know is that when I feel hungry, and then if I don't eat within a certain amount of time, I get really spacey, nauseous, and can't think very well. I also get a headache and super tired if I don't eat. Anyone else get these symptoms?

If you go too low, you can do your body/weight loss more harm than good.

I was using ftiday.com, but I would like to try ND. Is there a way I can enter my foods for the day to see my total count of vitamins, minerals, calories, etc? I know how to do it in Fitday, but can't figure out ND.

I need some new ideas for lunch. Can you guys give me some good, low fat ideas for lunch? I love salads, but I have yet to find a dressing that I liked that wasn't full of fat. Right now I am eating a bunch of different veggies, wrapped in collard leaves, which is very yummy, but I need a new idea. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch!
