I got this one from that raw Ebook and it was delish! Cut up broc. Rub and massage it with coconut oil and clean hands. Add curry to taste. I think you can dehydrate it to if you want...I saw no need to.

Wow, thanks Lydia...your post was extremely helpful. They did rule out a urine infection and said she had incontenance b/c she got spayed and the muscles had lost their elasticity. I think I will try taking her off the dry food and switch to wetfood/raw and then transition to just raw. Man, cutting up meat is NOT something I want to do (plus it's expensive!) I'll have to think about that

Ok, so I hate wasting all the pulp when I make juices so I was wondering if I could mix it with some wet food and give it to my animals. I haven't gotten my pets on raw yet but I'd like to since my cat is getting really fat. Currently all they eat is natural dry food. So, I was thinking that I could coat the veggie pulp with wet food and see if they eat it...does anybody have any suggestions for

Darkwoods, All the guys that I know that are over 6 feet are naturally slim. And I've definately dated a few of those guys and found them totally attractive. I agree that you should never feel like you're starving. If you wanted to go 100% Raw the one thing I would keep in mind (and this has helped me go 100% and transition well) is that you can eat as much as you want, whenever you want, in a

Hmm...I may be wrong on this (and I don't want to offend you in any way) but it sounds like you have "body building" associated with your identity. Why is it really that you want to bulk up? To me, it seems like something outside yourself is causing you to try extra hard to be bigger. I can relate to this because I myself have struggled to be something I am not naturally to change the w

Gawd, I cannot LIVE with out my E3Live...I totally love it! I think it's so much better than all those green powders (I think I've tried every one!) When I was transitioning into raw it really helped me get through cravings. If I wanted something bad I just had a tablespoon and it satiated me. Also, it has all your B vitamins and tons of protein. My day's not complete without it. Makes me ha

Yeah, I can NOT combine fruit and veggies in a smoothie - totally makes my tummy hurt. Cantalope Smoothie Scoop out the seeds combine with 2 cups water and blend to make seed milk. Strain out the pulp and pour the seed milk back in the blender with the rest of the cantalope (not the skin of course) add a dash of cinnamon. Delish! You can do this same recipe with watermelon but I haven't

Oh my God I just had the BEST coconut experience in my life!! So after a nice bike ride in my sunny neighborhood I come home and take the ladder out to reach the coconuts on my tree. Next to the ladder was this pole thingy with a branch cutter on the top and a string to pull the blade closed - A Coconut Picker!!! YES! The lady we're renting the house from must have left it t

I think about this often and would like to do something about it. We should be prepared for food shortages with the way the world is right now. You could store bulk nuts in your freezer - otherwise they'd go rancid after awhile right? I think those with gardens would be the luckiest but some of us don't have that option. Great Thread topic! David, what part of FL do you live in? I'm in Mi

Man, I totally feel you. I've done the same thing and regretted it. The only bad thing about going 100% Raw (for me) is that you can never ever go back to eating cooked food the way you used to with out having major problems. I get those exact symptoms if I splurge on anything cooked (especially sugar and grains) I feel like I have a bowling ball in my stomach...really bloated and icky feeling

Me and my husband were walking our dog around our neighborhood last night and I noticed a bunch of small Palm trees with coconuts easy to reach. Well I grabbed 3 of them and just twisted them to get them off the tree. Then when we got home we took a hammer to them (the back of the hammer) and pried them open. I have to say it was really hard to get into those things! I cracked mine before getting

Ah, I'm feeling like my old self again. Clean and clear and with no stomach bloat!! I'm past all the cravings and into exploring new ways to make raw meals. The fruit in the morning and mostly all day is so nice. I found a website online that delivers raw desserts like pudding and apple pie and also sprouted hummus and flax crackers! It's a little pricey but so worth it! YAY! My spirit is happy
