A. 2000 is probably good in your case. 1200'ish is for people on SAD trying to lose weight. I wouldnt obsess about calories though if you dont need to lose..if you're hungry..eat.. B. Do what youre comfortable with. Just like some people can quit ciggerrettes and coffee cold turkey, others can't. You might want to just ease into it ..especially with your other health problems the detox might d

LOLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I thought the people at my doctors offices were idiots. In your case, the dr probably just didnt want to do it because it was unrelated to whatever you were there for. He should have told you to talk to your regular doctor about that. Blood tests. Calcium, Iron, Potassium, Magnesium, B12, K..most common ones..all can be tested via blood. Easiest way

Yeah, being alkaline is about balance. It's also about having "good flora" in your gut or you can get misleading readings even if you were to check your PH.

I've never believed this theory much just because probably 98% of people who develop underactive thyroids or "hypothyroidism" are typical SADers and hardly eat any "goitrogens" or "crucifers". Maybe some greens in their Subway salad and that's about it.

www.Naturalzing.com and rawguru.com has olives but not sure if they're as 'raw" as you're looking for. I get my olives just from Whole Foods just because they're stuffed with jalepenos and are awesome.

How about getting her to stop holding it in somehow? I know this isn't a kid..but I actually had this problem with my Beagle. Hunting is more fun than going to the bathroom. He'd hold it in and the next morning he'd cry while going and pass a good amount of blood with it from the stool being so hard/fat it would tear his anus. Now he likes to go because he gets a treat afterwards. Maybe yo

Did you do more research on the medication? Like it's side effects and all? Sounds like all your current symptoms ARE from that and you probably have a good lawsuit on your hands. I blame the meds, not detox or weight loss. Lots of people lose a lot of weight fast going raw or cleansing and don't have those kinds of symptoms. (I once lost 20lbs of toxic bloat in 2 weeks) Besides, just the fact th

You can find out by doing a long fast. Your body lets you know when to quit. You'll go weeks without being hungry then all of a sudden you *need* food. For me, cravings are usually in my head. I'll want something and get fixated on it. Also if you do have a problem with cravings, might want to look into "colon cleansing", having food rotting in your colon can trigger cravings. Anoth
