This thread was about a CAT. Essential Oils can be TOXIC to cats. Just because something is "OK" for dogs doesn't mean it's good for cats. You guys could end up killing someone's cat with that kind of advice.

I sprout the seeds from Whole Foods and health food stores bulk bins just fine. Millet, Quinoa, Wheat berries, sesame seeds, beans and flax seeds.. The rest of the stuff..make sure it's "RAW" and has the hulls. Barley and oats have to be "raw". Never tried sunflowers..been meaning to do those though.

Sucks with spinach too. I have to just wrap the spinach around carrots to minimize the foam. Look for a good strainer. Some mesh strainers are finer and others have holes too big where you still get foam in the juice.(like the crap one I bought at Target)

My mother brought me her old microwave because she got a new one and that one was too small for her. I like it. It's been sitting on a table and collecting junk mail and stuff. Quote "I always marvel at people who know that microwaves are hazardous to life, but still use them. That goes for you, too. So why do you ask this question ? Statements like that are misleading. I doubt it's the

That has infested my kitchen with ants? Yuck. They're verywhere. Spill the tiniest drop or leave the tiniest drop of it in the sink or on a spoon... and within hours there's ants in it eating it..the others end up drowning in it cause it's at the bottom of a cup. I've been drinking The Master Cleanse style lemonade..with agave instead of maple.

I've never been to "Wild Oats"..in my area it's Whole Foods. I have to go all the way there Sunday anyway and was wondering if Wild Oats tends to have "juice bars" or fresh juice? All the local Whole Foods' I've been into don't have any..and I'm always reading on these forums that people get fresh juices from those places.

Yeah, I was losing weight last month by drinking juices and then in the evening i ate actual food. Actually doing that kind of got me into fasting mode and I went on a long fast. Yo-Yo fasting is what will make you gain weight though or not lose it. You can't fast for 3 days, eat food for 3, fast, eat, fast eat...That's what messes your metabolism up and your body thinks it's "starving&q

1lb of spinach is 449mg of calcium... Collards is the highest with 668mg of calcium in 1lb. If you mix the greens with carrot juice, you get a bit extra calcium from that.

Hi. Welcome to the board. I'm not even sure who "raw bryan" is..But overall on this board, the top blenders seem to be the Vitamix/Vitaprep or the Commercial grade blenders like Waring. I don't think many people seem to like the Blendtec..might want to just try searching the forum for it. And www.2-life.com tends to have the cheapest prices on the juicers and blenders. They even d

For all those that have been feeding their dogs "Vegan" for months or years.. Do us all a favor and post pics of your dog's teeth. I'd love to see the tarter that acummulates on them, especially in the back molars. Or ok, tell us how you brush their teeth everyday because in the wild dogs would brush their teeth with tree bark or something.

Orange colored? Carrots stain it easily. When I first got mine, I was obsessed with washing it right after juicing and it still stained. Now i don't care so much. Look for some kind of little stiff brush too to make the scrubbing easier. The one that came with mine is kind of weak.

I made this thread once. Most people responded that it did something for them. But I've gone through 2-3 bottles and haven't felt any difference, not even when I was adding it to my juices on a juice fast. I've definitely seen some improvements in my animals though..I give it to my lazy, hypothyroid, arthritic dog before a walk and he definitely gets energy and keeps up longer. I only give him
