If you're partial to fruit, then go with that and listen to your body. There is a thread in the other section of the forum about being fruitarian and this might be great for you. Cheers!

I really enjoyed it and learned some great things. Immersing myself with Raw books, audio, the Internet, and things like the summit keep me fueled with motivation and inspiration. It energizes me Cheers!

No one says you have to decide now. Try it one way and see how it works for you. If you don't like it, try it the other way. The beauty of this is that you can try them both back and forth until you find where you're comfortable, which is what most people do. Cheers!

I also like the Turning Slicer by Benriner. When I make those noodles, they stay fresh for a couple of days, versus the spiralizer (which I like for the price). As written above, the noodles from Spiralizer (angel hair style) you should eat right after putting sauce on them. Cheers!

I definitely do a mixture of both. Sometimes just because I'm short on time, I eat plain fruit and veggies. When I have a little more time, I'll make fabulous meals. Or, depends on the season. In the summer because it's hotter, I tend to eat more fruit and food that's lower fat.

Yeah, I gotta plug my own raw food recipe ebooks here because I have one on juicing and beverages. They're really terrific and the feedback on them is fantastic. Cheers!

You could try decaf cold pressed coffee which is still coffee (but you can make the decaf) and it's much less acidic. Cafe Gratitude serves this. You make it cold pressed then you can warm it in a microwave or on a stove gently. There is info on it here: Otherwise, there are things like warming hemp or nut milk and adding raw chocolate powder...not coffee I know, but it's warm and soothi

Hi The following I have listed in order of importance to have. 1. Chef’s Knife The thing you’ll be doing the most when prepping Raw food is….chopping. So, get a fantastic chef’s knife for yourself. I can’t emphasize this enough. The brand I prefer and use at home is MAC. A great place to start is a knife that is 6-8 inches in length. Along with this, get an inexpensive knife sh

Congratulations and Welcome! That's so exciting to hear about your journey. Please keep us posted I would dehydrate fruit over the freezing option. Nutrients are retained through dehydration. With freezing, you can lose up to 30% of the nutrients. But, hey, 70% nutrition is better than nothing, right? For nuts...raw is best. Are you soaking them? They're easier for digestion if you soak t

I've had a lot of fun reading this post. Keep up the posting please I know momentum can really help in the beginning of a diet, especially just after you read a book. How are doing with 80/10/10 and sticking with it? How do you handle it socially? Cheers!

I think Lara bars are okay. They're great for traveling, but I actually love the flavor of just plain dates. I could eat a handful of those or more, at a time. It's also great dipping the dates in some raw chocolate powder or carob, or sticking a pecan, walnut or almond inside. But, back to simplicity, I love just eating dates over a lara bar ANY DAY!

After my mom went through menopause she had a problem wth weight. The thing that had the quickest results for her were 80/10/10 and some exercise. Once she got down the weight she wanted, she slowly started adding some other Raw foods into her diet on certain days. She's pretty much been able to maintain if she does that, but to lose the weight in the beginning, it was 80/10/10 and some exercise.

I had a problem with mushrooms when I first started eating Raw. That is probably what caused you the pain and discomfort. Glad to hear you're doing better. Cheers!
