Greetings! In addition to attempting to be raw, I am also a photographer.. I currently shoot 35mm B & W film, as well as digital with my Pentax MX & K10D cameras.. In the immediate future I hope to begin shooting with a Pentax 67II medium format camera.. In my continuing research into the world of the Pentax 6x7 system, I happened upon this link by the photographer Chris Wilso

Greetings Everyone!! Currently, I DO NOT care for the taste of most green juices, or green smoothies.. My brain just rebels at the smell & taste of the chlorophyll in the drink.. To the point of almost triggering my gag reflex sometimes.. For example; this morning I made a green smoothie using 1/2 of a pineapple, 4 very ripe bananas, most of a head of Bibb lettuce, & 8 oz. of

Every time that I find myself under "attack" by others over my choices in the food I eat, I try to remind myself that the PRIMARY reason that I'm being verbally attacked is that the person doing the attacking is almost always VERY insecure over their own food choices.. These people are generally questioning their own eating habits, & feel compelled to denigrate others in order to

I was not as clear in my last post as I would have liked to be, so..... All of the above suggestions only apply if & only if the organic produce is ripe & tastes good.. I absolutely agree that much of the organic produce that I bought when I first tried going raw tasted like c**p.. I only buy those organic items that I know I can trust, like bananas, unless I taste it first in th

I agree with suncloud & nora As an organic gardener, off & on since 1980, I have learned that you can grow your own organic produce just about anyplace in the USA if you try hard enough & REALLY want to.. Most of my produce has been grown in the backyard of a rowhouse, the total square footage which measures only 19 ft. wide x 60 ft. long.. A northern exsposure effectively el

I find that the thing about being caffeine free this time around, is that I really don't miss the so called stimulat effects of coffee at all.. As my addiction grew older & older, the caffeine had less & less effect on me.. The best thing about giving up coffee is NOT feeling the effects of the depressant half of the addiction.. Also, over the last 3-4 years, the amount of coffee

ddreams76 I am 53 years old.. I quit drinking coffee permanently, cold turkey for the last of four times in April of 2006.. The previous three times that I quit cold turkey I had migraine type headaches that lasted between 3-4 days, 24/7 the entire time that I detoxed off of the caffeine.. Headaches so bad that they effectively prevented me from sleeping during the detox.. Even kno

deegarry There are gloves that can be purchased that will protect your fingers from being cut.. You do not want to look for a stainless steel mesh glove..Not only are they very heavy, but they are very expensive.. The ones you want to look for are made from a tough synthetic fiber that somewhat resembles steel mesh..They should cost approximately $15.00 from a restaurant supply store..Ch
