I currently own a centrifugal juicer, the Breville Juice Fountain Elite..I seldom find myself using it..I originally purchased a Greenstar 3000, never used it, & returned it for a refund..
My experience with juicers is limited & I'm not the best person to ask for a recommendation..

If the recipe is calling for the nuts in it to be homogenized, then the recipe's author wants you to run the nuts through a twin-screw juicer several times (3-4 usually) with the homogenizing plates installed..The homogenizing plates are also known as the smooth plates..
The resultant mixture is known as a nut butter, & will have a consistency very similar to commercial nut butters..Using

The short answer is NO..
A blender & a juicer are two entirely different tools with juicers falling into different classes where the different types of juicers perform quite differently from one another..
A quality kitchen appliance should last for decades if not abused..A single expensive appliance will cost less per day of ownership than will several less expensive ones that wear out

The homogenizing plates of a twin-screw juicer will make nut butters without needing to add additional oil..
Food processors & blenders require oil so as to allow the mixture to move around in order to achieve a relatively smooth consistency..
Commercial butters are made by squeezing the nuts through huge rollers that are brought further & further together as the mixture breaks down
