don't add water if you don't want to. if you are going 2 use the stuff relatively quickly, then you could add water to make it smooth out, but tahini is just ground up sesame seeds. You can use a vita mix or whatever to grind the seeds up until they are smooth and creamy. I make tahini based dressings using only sesame seeds and water with lemon, so in this use i use water. just grind em up!

soy is weird, yes, and I don't eat it at all.....but also i don't eat any miso because it is not truly raw to me. Yes, it has been probiotically brought back to life, but the initial substance being eaten was cooked.....god knows what stuff we will know in 100 or 1000 years. so someday I am going to brew up some totally raw miso, but as of today no such thing exists. i use the RAW vitamins for sure. they are created by letting bacteria eat the foods and nutrients. highly raw, bacteria created. good stuff.

the stuff above the water line won't go bad if you stir your fermentation daily. you can use the tbls of salt per quart of brine as a good standard. but if you simply stir your stuff daily it will keep rotating the stuff under your brine. the juice on the counter is normal, just don't put so much in the jar then or place your jars in a tupperware to catch the drain off.

no fat is the secret. Use only about a tsp of hemp seeds a day in smoothies. no more at all. You can detox the fat right off using green juices and smoothies. no fat!

I DO believe raw is all we need and as such I feel the secret to your nutrition is in juice AND green smoothies !!! I lost 225 pounds using green smoothies as my detox reset meal. We don't get enough of the nutrients out of greens by chewing them, we get so much more if we use a vita mix! All you need is fruit greens and water. You can use random supplemnts here too, like raw protein powder

yes lydias is all we got currently!!! what sucks is that cafe gratitude was highly successful but had to close down because of a shitty past employee getting greedy. thus causing literally thousands of people to have less access to healthy food. karma hopefully will burn that person. anyway, lydias is awesome !!!! hit it up!

step one is always go 100% raw and for the first year make sure to be low fat so you can actually detox properly. during this first year of 100% make sure to ingest herbs that are known for adrenal support and rebuilding. without the 100% raw it is less likely you will rebuild and detox enough to notice anything. GO 100% !!! then reap the benefits......

yes, coconut secret brand does a sugar. its super yummy! and doesn't make me feel jacked up like agave used to. also, I just discovered a new sugar that is totally raw! Its sun dried evaporated sugar cane juice! its very exotic tasting and floral. they have it at my large local whole foods, not my smaller locations, but of course the one that has over 400 bulk bins!

yes yes.....;it seems lots of people have gotten their nuts to "swell" but I have truly never actually gotten any nuts to sprout per se. I've gotten the swollen little tail on almonds before, but nothing actually leads me to believe that these are actually raw because the tail never advances as if it were alive. so in my opinion we may all be running around eating questionable nuts.

i have 4 kids. 1 is 6 years old. two are 3, and one is 5 months old. They are all 100% raw vegan. I take them to the doctor regularly just to prove they have no nutrient deficiencies. i just use saran wrap or deli paper, no pit, and in the fridge it doesn't even get brown. the amount of fat we need is mostly already in fruits!! then i just use tiny bits of hemp seeds, and occasionally about 1/10th to 1/15th of an avocado!

I am 100% raw, as are my 3 kids. One 6 year old daughter, 2 3 year old twins. Then I have a new born who is on breast milk by my love who is also 100% raw with me. I have to agree that to choose cooked is a form of death acceptance. i use it in smoothies off and on all the time! i juice it if i am juicing but i generally smoothie all the time! provides all the yummy fiber, and tons of free nutrients. Always add a vitamin c source to help amp up the iron absorption!

calories are just a way to measure intake of diet. calories define energy levels. humans run on energy, therefore we can measure our intake of food using calories. it is the easiest most logical way to measure our diets. volume is a horrible way to measure food intake as different foods have massively different energy levels in them.
