Wow, Bryan, good point. You are thinking outside of the corporate box. But the problem with your paradigm (which I agree with) is that corporations can't sell chemical medicines to these people (more allergy medications!) to "heal" them. Kudos to you, and thanks.

THANKS! I like that it is free. But, I'm not much into supplements... I like the idea of lots of fresh juice though. Much appreciate the link. Hope you are having a healthful, healing day.

Overpopulation. Too many rats in the cage. Mother Theresa said using condoms was sinful. Tax credits for breeders. More kids? More tax deductions.

Do you have a dehydrator? I don't so most of the recipes for chips don't work for me. :-( Anyway...

Hi Kwan, I've been following this thread and was wondering... What is the difference between a juice fast and a juice feast? Quantity? Some people use the terms interchangeably, I suspect to calm the concerns of people who are afraid of fasting. Thanks for any thoughts and thanks for sharing your journey.

Hey WY, If you are still online or for when you get back... You've been such a big help to so many people here. I hope you benefit from the online downtime. You are a valuable member of this community. I don't know where you live but hopefully the weather invites you outside and you can feel the healing and new life of this season all around you. Wishing you all the best!

Get rid of your television, don't listen to corporate radio, exercise, meditate, get out in nature, eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Watch this:

Thanks for the quick response. I'll start coveting -- I mean SAVING over the summer and hopefully be able to get it in the fall. I used to own a Champion juicer a long ways back. I'm looking forward to re-building my stock of kitchen tools. Back to reading your juice feast posts!

The Omega 8006 is out of stock at Discount Juicers and on Amazon. I wonder why?

Thanks for the response WY! What kinds of things would you ideally put into a Omega 8006? (Please don't say a cell phone. That was the dumbest Internet video ever and didn't make me want to buy the blender! ha ha) I'm loving my Blendtec and drinking lots of green smoothies but hoping to be able to buy a juicer in the fall. I've got a super small kitchen and even if I could afford two juicer

I'm following the juice feasting thread and thinking how the one thing I would miss is greens. I'm into green smoothies. If you were going to juice greens, I assume that would be best done with a different type of juicer than works for harder stuff (carrots, celery, beets, apples...) Anyone juice much greens? Using what (blender and type of greens). Thanks.

Just want to thank you both for posting here. I'm not juice feasting -- I don't own a jucer... yet! But, I'm learning by following along. Maybe someday I'll join in, for now, sending good vibes for healing, health, and success. THANKS!

I'm happy with my Blendtec, but I wouldn't cry if someone snuck in to my house and replaced it with a Vitamix. It's just so great to have a powerful blender. My Blendtec is quieter than one of the top of the line Cuisinart blenders. What I would really like to do someday is some side-by-side comparisons with my "go to" smoothies. Lately, that's been spinach and just about any fruit (

I don't watch television (don't own an idiot box) nor do I get my news from "mainstream" commercial organizations. I find that they perpetuate a culture of domination and fear. I listen to ambient music, when I do listen to music (Brian Eno, Steve Roach, Harold Budd, Liquid Mind, etc.). If you can't afford to buy music, there is Pandora.com and Jamendo.com ... probably others besides

Yikes on the price! I guess if were rich that would be a nice treat. I can buy a lot of raw fruits and vegetables for the price. If you can afford it, go for it. Looks yummy.

I stumbled across this and was surprised to see it references the "China Study." While is doesn't mention raw/vegan eating per se, it does say that "the only way to enhance performance and stay healthy is to eat a plant-based diet." Encouraging to see... I hope the message keeps getting out there. I love this food!

Some links: and I don't eat things that don't taste good to me. Sure, sometimes that means compost happens. But I'm happier that way. Hang in there.

Early on, when I would majorly slip up, I realized that I was missing the TASTE of certain dishes. I incorporated more spices and herbs in my foods and that helped. Lately, I'm not doing that so much but am into the pureness of the food I am eating. But, yeah, being aware... It took me a while to figure out what was going on. ha ha Also, you are so right about having delicious raw/vegan foo

If you are on meetup.com already, check out the raw food meetups there and ask members for their advice. That's what I have done with traveling to other cities and I've gotten GREAT advice for restaurants... Because even though some restaurants may not be officially raw/vegan, some have more options than others. Have a great trip! What a beautiful city.

Ebhak, Relax! Deep breath time... in... out... in... out... Sometimes it takes a few days for all the regulars to check in, sometimes people need time to think about their responses. Be patient and you will find that most of the time people here provide great information on very specific equipment purchases (some of which involve major investments of money). I love this food! And, I'm g

I don't toast it. You can buy it pre-toasted. I don't think it's necessary to toast it. I use nori for wraps. I mix up what I put in there, depending on what's in my fridge. The possibilities are endless... I haven't tried it, but I read somewhere about putting nut butter and banana inside a rolled up nori sheet. Hmm. Maybe.

Sundancer, that's what I was thinking. ha ha But, then, it is also fun for those who are still a child at heart. Arugula is all grown up and doesn't need colorful, smiley faced food. JUST KIDDING! Arugula, I love your posts! As long as the faces I am eating are not from formerly live animals, I'm ok with it.
