Hmmm. I had a girlfriend that said she could take on someones sad mood, and remove it from them. This is an interesting possibility for all of us if we clean out our bodies and minds with pure living foods. Vinny

Scales vary so much. At home I can weigh 171 lbs. Go to the dr office an hour later and I weigh 185. I think the point is to use the same scale as a reference from day to day.

My favorite saying is what Rocky Balboa said in his last movie.. It doesnt matter how many times you "fall",but how many times you get back up again. Your "fall" into pizza was eating a food that most people wouldnt give a second thought to.So if you consider it a fall, think how much further ahead you are than the average SAD folk. Vinny

Great. I did not mean to cause any one to veer away from the raw lifestyle cause of my still being too heavy. I believe in raw way of eating 100%.Especially what I have read about fruit being SO cleansing to the body. My issue is...if only I could stick to it 100%. The posts on this site are a great motivation though. Thanks.

The post about the raw foodists still being overweight. The only issue that could be is sharp spikes in blood sugar from alot of fruit?? SO many sources have us thinking that blood sugar is directly related to your weight, and that fruit spikes it pretty severely. I eat about 80% raw,and yea, want to lose another 30 lbs.It aint budging. Any other folks? Vinny

One great use for a dehydrator is if you are into camping and hiking. You can dry veggies and fruits to a fraction of their original weight to carry in a back pack. Vinny

Yes,with online banking it is SO easy to check your debit balance, and all purchases show up almost immediately online. It cant be beat. No more balancing a checkbook at all. Thats how it is here in USA. It might be a different story in other parts of the world. I agree cash is the easiest way of all,but its so risky carrying any appreciable amount of cash.If you lose it....its gone.If yo

I would say relax. If you are eating a variety of the living foods of the Earth, nature will take care of the rest. How could it be otherwise? Thats my viewpoint. Vinny

You aint had ass pain till you had anal abscesses. I have had 6. They require draining of the puss. They are so painful that every nerve in your bod has been recruited to hurt, even your fingernails.

I get the feeling that tea is not generally considered a raw food. Even "sun tea",cause the tea is probably exposed to heat before you ever get it to put in your sun tea jar. Coffee is obviously very hot when most people drink it. Probably nothing real hot should go into the body. I do enjoy a hot cup of herbal tea every now and then. These kinds of drinks are rather acidic,so like

Hi Folks, Has anyone ever used Celtic sea salt for anything? Internally or externally? I was reading its good for minerals, and good for overall blood Ph balance. Can it be aggravating to things like gout? Arthritis? It is supposed to be drastically different, and better, than normal table salt,or even standard sea salt. Vinny
