Interesting. I had mono in '78 at the age of 14. Several yrs later had a very sore lymph node in my groin. I was given ethromycen for the lymph. Nothing for the mono as I recall. Just bed rest. Vinny

Generally I think its a shame....that society largely hasnt yet got the message that we are indeed what we eat,and memories of having to eat your yucky broccoli before getting up from the table give raw foods a bad wrap. Then theres all the programming of doctors, who studied "health" for 8 yrs or so. Hey,they put in all those yrs in school. So why not trust everything they say. I

I tell you its the taste buds. The great majority of folks arent going to want to go into a restaurant and want to pay for cold vegetables. No way. They want hot gooey cheesy meaty stuff.Period. I have seen at least two raw eateries vanish in my area here in Pa. Vinny

Great list!! It sure encourages me. One other thing is that your food bill will probably go down. I see people spend $300 for groceries and there isnt one worthwhile thing in their carts. I spend about $45 a week and have all I need to eat. Vinny

One thing I do that works to keep motivated is I will spend about 1/2 hr before a meal reading a good book or article on exactly what effect good raw living food has on the very cells of my body, then during the meal, chew slowly, and kind of meditate and appreciate that what you are consuming is all good for those cells, and give thanks that you have this knowledge where millions dont. Hope this

Think about the mental connotations of how the entire "fall of mankind" was precipitated by the eating of a lovely living food like the apple and how it might turn so many off from thinking that raw foods arent worth s-it. I mean really. VINNY
