The anger has settled. The physical symptoms of elimination are now in full swing! Im only drinking water and taking plenty of rest, waiting for this to pass. It is an amazing experience and i feel so much more connected and at peace, despite the physical discomforts. Thanks for all your posts. flex4life Thanks for suggesting EFT. I have used it in the past with good results. Thank

Lovely responses, thank you. This experience does feel like an emotional detox. Like a real deep cleanse. I'm OK with it. I'm keeping a diary, looking for patterns but not trying to attach the anger or try and find a cause. I was just curious. Wondered if others had experienced similar. FruityJules I know that i have been gathering gunk most of the week. It feels like I'm about to

For the past week I have been increasing my fruit intake, dropping nuts and greens.9 Most of the time I feel really good, very calm and happy. However, When a stressor hits (even a slightly mild one) i have noticed that I become very angry. In fact i fall into a deep rage! The anger does not last long but it is rather out of character for me. Although i have eaten a raw for some tim

Great post. Over the past couple of months Ive experienced lots of problems with high energy, not being able to sleep despite having a full time job and a family to look after. I have been so exhausted/ spaced out/restless /irritable, I also developed a huge craving for chocolate which i now appear to have overcome(fingers crossed!) I started to include a few steamed veggies into my eve

Witarianin Thanks for your comments lots of info for me to look at. The daily intake that i posted was just given to offer a brief idea of what im eating based on the past couple of days. just a quick off the cuff sample! If i had been reading my post, i would question the persons general diet. I do food combine ,so am aware of leaving time for adequate assimilation. I am aware that w

Thanks for your replies Gosia I see your point, that looks like a lot of food! I make sure that i have a light breakfast, after that i only eat if i feel hungry so i don't snack every day. Bryan I'm still eating spring onions, a little pepper corn and fresh ginger root. maybe its time to let go of these foods and move on! I have cleaned up my diet, but need to take it further. M

I have recently cleaned up my diet after eating a little cooked and ditching my chocolate craving by adding a little more fat to my diet in the form of avocados nuts and seeds. Even though i was high raw my energy levels have increased dramatically, so much that i have not had a nights sleep for over five days. It may sound crazy but although i have lots of energy i feel mentally exhausted.

Oh so serious John........... of course the link has many grey areas! Of course its a ridiculous comparison chart! I just happened to be looking for a kempo picture to post and came across the link and posted it. As stated earlier the link was meant to be light hearted fun. As regards your other comments I find them totally unnecessary. Anyway... Enough of this nonsense.... Happy

Hi mallow Maybe drop the nutritional yeast. Pre raw I had IBS for 15 years. I was constantly bloated, belive me I know how that feels! Adding nutritional yeast to recipies will make me bloat. It then takes several days for my system to settle, causing cravings, irritability, low energy etc. I also have to be careful with dried spices. I can get away with it if i use them sparingly.

JJ I have used both machines. I hear what you say. I still prefer my kempo. I also juice large quantities of greens. The kempo handles them fine. I dont have a problem with cleaning the machine as i like to look after my equipment. As regards how long it will last me only time will tell!

HI Cindy I experienced the same cold symptoms as you when i first went totally raw vegan. I just sat in a hot bath to keep warm. I FELT LIKE MY BONES WERE COLD! I posted a thread about being cold all of the time A kind soul responded telling me to take a kelp tablet as it would 'warm me right up' I took a tablet, went to bed, woke up the next morning and the coldness had gone. GlenAffric Pleased to hear you are happy with your purchase. As regards the pulp,if you tighten the screw (where the juice comes out) this will produce a finer juice, however, a friend of mine who has owned a similar machine for over 10 years told me that this puts extra strain on the motor so she leaves the screw off and strains the juice before drinking. If you are drinking the juice on an

I know that Victoria Boutenko recommends the vitamix in her book greens for life I dont own a vitamix. I have a bullet and a kenwood smoothie maker. Although the kenwood makes short work of ice, it does not blend greens very well. It leaves lots of green bits that can not be broken down. I don't know if the cellulose is broken down in the bullet to the same extent as it may be broken down b

wheatgrass is said to be able to draw heavy metals out of the tissues. Daily high Enemas followed by a wheatgrass implant would be worth considering. If you still have amalgam fillings, it is reccomended that you take wheatgrass through a straw as I understand that the wheatgrass can draw the mercury from the remaining fillings. As an earlier poster mentioned, it is best to seek a den

Hi GlenAffric I juice celery daily and soft fruits occasionally. The only tip I have is if you are juicing leaves, that you juice them first, then follow through with the tougher things. handles citrus including pith and skin. You do need to cut the material in order to fit it into the chute. its fine for cucumber. this machine also has a reverse gear. you can use it if your veggie
