"And out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food.."
..And the LORD God said...
AND THOU SHALT FERMENT THEM BEFORE EATING THEM BECAUSE I DID NOT MAKE IT RIGHT
There something totally wrong in this.

I am looking into trying fermented juices. My only concern is given that 60 percent of the rejuvelac batches are bad according to Brian Clement study, then 60 percent of my juices will be contaminated which is worse than not being efficiently absorbed.

You can have your pumpkins
And eat too.
Not everything needs to be green, not everything needs to be fermented. There are many choices.

There is a huge price drop after Halloween for the sugar pumpkins, good time to buy them. I always make sure I have a good supply of them.

I juice sugar pumpkins but I eat butternut squash raw. I cut them in small cubes and take them to work. They have a lot of vitamin A but not as sweet as carrots. The amazing about them is that the will clean your digestive system, they work better for me than cabbage.

They are one of the most powerful digestive cleanser you can eat. I juice them regularly instead of carrots.

Green juice is very perishable so how do you get that juice into fermentation without making it totally unusable.

Humans had periods of famine historically, it is not the case in modern times, most of us are overloaded with undigested foods. That is why juicing is so good for many, it help them rest the digestive system. With a glass of carrots or celery juice in the morning, he may not need to eat the doughnut.

I think it is even better not to eat, not to juice. Fasting is the way to go.

But the problem with obesity is that people are not actually chewing the food they eat. Watch people in a restaurant or a dinner table, food is chewed about 3 times and swallowed. That is where obesity come from especially when the food is not raw and covered with oil and fats.
Each mouthful should be chewed at least 30 times but in practice it is only 3 times. With this fact juicing is way be

I juice
I juice greens (celery, dandelion, cabbage, sunflower sprouts, wheatgrass, corn grass, buckwheat greens). I drink one to two pints of green juices a day.
I do not get discouraged from juicing. I love it. I grow some of greens indoor and that is where the hard work is. I eat fruits and drink green juices, that is my diet. No room for fermented foods. Juicing make me healthy and light.

Great post. Your contribution to the forum is very positive even though I disagree with some of your points. You take time to explain your position which is very good.

Some of the seeds are dead so what do you think will happen to them when they are soaked in water for 5 days or more? They cannot sprout, the develop mold, that is why the study by Brian Clement found that 60 percent of the rejuvelac was bad. And in your case, you don't just drink the water, you also eat the seeds.

The rejuvelac experiment is not worth the risk even if the bad batches were only 5 percent of the times. One bad batch contains millions of bad bacteria. Ten glasses of good rejuvelac cannot undo the damage of one glass of bad rejuvelac.

You have a point. In reading some of the books Ann Wigmore wrote (I heard Brian Clement was the one who actually wrote them and never got credits), she does not recommend any special care in making the rejuvelac. just put the wheat berries in a jar with some water and wait for 3 days.

Rejuvelac. We used to call it rejuve-rot. It is not a Hippocrates invention, it is a traditional drink from the Baltic countries. We used it in the past because we thought it had lacto-bacteria. We paid for a study on rejuvelac; we naively thought the fermentation would always be good bacteria. The study found that this wa
