Hi John, I liked your eloquent response video. It came from the heart. Yet... If all humans stopped cooking, I don't see humans suddenly no longer being fallen. Alcohol is still technically raw. Drugs can be made raw. Wild vegetarian animals eating a raw diet still kill each other, and so can humans. Look at how many people have died from fasting incorrectly and there were people oversee

at 37:00 minutes, he recommends looking into TRue North for fasting. He might seem nonchalant when he says this, but consider someone like him is such an easy target for lawsuits that a conservative suggestion is in itself significant. At 39:00 minutes, he describes how he was instrumental in changing breast cancer surgery laws to help inform women of their choices in Hawaii back in 1982

Hi JOhn, I saw all three of your videos about McDougall and also this video about not shooting inside the tent and how you don't view McDougall as being inside the tent. Are you aware that McDougall sends his patients to True North, a fasting center where they have not only water fasting but also juice fasting? Dr. Alan Goldhamer and Dr. John McDougall discuss the health benefits of Water Fa

Hi Lisa, I juice unripe melons. Let's say you cut open a honey dew or cantaloupe and they are not ripe, then just cut off the peel and you can juice through a centrifugal or twin gear. I will combine the melon with a sweet ripe fruit in the juicer, so the juice is a bit sweeter than just the unripe melon alone. I know Esselstyn says to watch out for fruit juice, but I personally feel the a

SueZ, I will just share on TSM's website. I was just thinking of blogging on my own website, but now that I think about it, that's not really so fitting for my job. It works out anyway, because I plan on working with TSM more, as I include more sprouts and sprout juices. SueZ, correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I have read in your entries, you actually deeply care about TSM. And I have

Jennifer: Hey, I'm honored that it looks as if when you looked inside yourself before you talked back to me, you found something inappropriate that you said, and that you found that there was actually more than one correct thing I said about you that you need to cultivate away - judging from the response I just got from you Tai: I did look inside and found a few things I need to cultivate.

To Jennifer and John Rose, Prana is the moderator of the board, not me. I was at a trade show this weekend and I was going to share even more things I found, but I had to take some time to defend TSM. This isn't a mud fight forum, it's supposed to be about raw food. With all this craziness, I will probably just start my own website. When I first joined sharing with vegans online a

There is a lot more to learn about iodine and I am just learning about the different types, including potassium iodide. FOr example, I learned that LUgol's is a combo of iodine and potassium iodide and people often react to the potassium iodide. What were details of that lady's death? SOme vegans don't view seaweed as vegan. Not everyone will eat seaweed for their iodine.

I ate pichu berries for the first time this weekend. THey look like small yellow tomatillos. They have a slight fruity sweetness. They are also known as Incan golden berries: In a dried state, they taste more like a fruit than a veggie. In a fresh state, they are somewhere in between.

I bought this nascent iodine this weekend: It tastes like seaweed or sea water, but it's from the iodine "crystal" or rock. The medium is alcohol. The color is red They were saying that Alex Jones' purple nascent iodine doesn't work as well because of the glycerin base. One drop is 400 mcg. I tried Pili nuts for the first time this weekend. They almost look like a brazil nut from the outside. The inside is soft like pine nuts and delectably creamy. I thought macadamia nuts were the ultimate fat treat, but now I think Pili nuts are.

SueZ: here's a tiny bit of what is written for dehydrating figs - quarter them and spread one layer thick on the drying trays with skin side down. Tai I do that when I make chocolate covered figs. I cut them in half and dry them juicy-side up. If you don't cover them with something, then the juicy part will really dry up. The art of drying figs is to retain a nice chewiness. Drying them wh

I have an excalibur 9 tray and I have no complaints, except that it's quite small and the trays are too close to each other. My friend has a Sausage Maker (name brand) stainless steel dehydrator and the spacing of the trays is more reasonable, especially since I dehydrate big fat figs (when the trees are overloaded) and herbs, however, it breaks down sometimes, which is terribly annoying. hey Jackson, it's a super great idea to use kale in one's pesto, but I just want to point out that a third cup of olive oil has 600 calories and one cup of pine nuts has 900 calories, so this dish has 1500 calories already without the veggies. When I make pesto, I use fresh tomato as a liquid medium instead of oil to get the greens to blend up. Also, a half cup of nuts seems more reasonable

I recommend getting a complete blood test. See if you are low or functionally low in any nutrients or if you are anemic. If you really want to commit to the raw vegan diet, you really need to see what you are low in so you work on changing it. Functional ranges are more strict. Even if the laboratory ranges appear normal, the functional ranges may be abnormal and will indicate if you have a mil

One reason I am vegan is because I believe whoever kills or hurts an animal intentionally will have to bear the karma of that. I believe karma is not just an idea or vague concept but an actual field that surrounds and permeates our body and actually follows us even when we drop this flesh body. How much more ser
