Once again, John Rose, thank you again for sharing so much. I will study the links you gave. I am always open to expand my horizon. John, please be very careful around infectious people. Don't tempt fate. Even if you don't believe in viruses, remember this: a virus can be less than one micron but a skin pore can be 50 microns. Viruses can easily pass through skin pores, even when the skin

Two people revived my faith in the raw vegan diet as a long term sustainable diet, and they were Lou Corona and Brian Clement. I witnessed too many raw food blunders and health challenges over many years in many people to have faith in it long term. Unfortunately, I was only exposed to so-called the world's leading "authority" in raw food and other self-styled "experts", who

How can u call viruses BS, even if a person was cured? They still need to have regular blood tests to make sure it truly is gone. I have seen viruses all over people's bodies. It's no BS. And they are infectious. Would u dare to lick an active shingles infection on an AIDS patient?

The point is that if you buy directly from the manufacturer, you wil

Yes, my russian friend and I sometimes split a 25 pound of buckwheat. He cooks his but I use mine raw (sprouted and dehydrated). We both think the other is strange for doing so. Let me know how your sprouting goes. I usually only sprout mine for 24-36 hours.

JTP... Oh, I thought you were well versed in their prep. I have sprouted them a lot and made all kinds of dehydrated things with them. I only asked if it was okay because so many living foodists here are so against dehydration, as if it destroys so many nutrients, like the biophotons. Also, an obscure fact about buckwheat greens (Particularly the juice) is that they can produce light sensiti

Manta91 I have finches (long story...I don't believe in caging birds, and I am figuring out a way to release them, and still offer them a way to live) and I always toss in fresh raw greens and a variety of medicinal herbs picked fresh from the garden into their cage. The birds eat how much they want and leave the rest. Their instinct tells them how much and what to eat. I saw one bird with

Is it okay to eat them dehydrated? I have made dried snacks with them and eat them as dehydrated cereal. What happens to the lecithin when the buckwheat is dehydrated? If you eat it freshly sprouted, raw and wet, how do you eat it? Any cons to raw buckwheat?

Hi Trailrunner, Perhaps 25% of the population is gluten-sensitive. Gluten can affect either the nervous system and brain or the gut. If you carry those genes and they turn "on", they usually don't turn off. My brain expert teacher explained that gluten tends to be inflammatory to brains, regardless of the sensitive genes. Therefore, the practice of sprouting wheat and even making

Hi everyone, Reading John Rose's post today about cooked food (in which I shared about leukemia), reminded me of a few stories I wanted to share. I can't say for sure their origin, but they could relate to the infectious origin of some cancer. I look forward to sharing about this. From Wikipedia: Worldwide 16.1% of cancers are related to infectious diseases.[1] ... According to some a

Some toxicologists suggest that, depending on the dose, all substances are poisons. Many experts state that it is impossible to categorize any chemical as either safe or toxic and that the real concern is the risk or hazard associated with the use of any subst

Yin and yang is a truth, not a theory. The post written here is one aspect of yin and yang, comparing raw to cooked, but yin and yang can be applied to anything, even within strict raw foodism. In fruit : -watermelon is yin - chili peppers are yang (the fruit of a plant) Cold bitter greens are yin (like kale) Spicy pungent greens are yang (like arugula) Dampness is yin Dryness is ya

P.S. to SueZ In my profession, we are strongly discouraged from selling herbal supplements from websites, as we are supposed to do an in-person differential diagnosis (within Chinese medicine). Giving the drastically wrong herbal formula is considered malpractice (ex. tonifying the excessive or purging the deficient). SueZ He doesn't offer degrees. He gives his students certificates. There is no fraud in giving a certficate. Look at how even three day workshops give out certificates in many fields. It just means you completed a course. A certificate doesn't give you even a license to touch a person. That he allows the students who completed his coursework to buy at a wholesale level does not constitute f

And if we hadn't shared together, I would probably have kept procrastinating with it. Thanks again.
