just interesting note for you all.
i also began a juice fast on sunday ...not knowing anything about what you all we up to. there must be a subliminal thing about this time of the year that is conducive to initiating a fast...for those who do such things.

i dont have the money to be buying all these machines like you seem to do so i am not able to speak about the omega 4000 since i have noit tried it out. but i have a pretty good idea form using both the non-pulp ejecting and the newer pulp ejecting types. both have proven themselves as sufficiently wasteful in my experiences. as i incidiacted to you in my above post, i am not about to waste

perhaps you are correct... but i have got better things to do in my life than waste my time with such a request sorry. you can't juice anything but hard stuff like carrots,beets etc. my greenstar does everythingincludoing carrots.
perhaps your omega can do agood job on carrots but that's all it can do.
sounds like i may have ruffled your feathers.

my guess is that he just doesn't value juicing as something important to him at this time. without the value the clean up is the first excuse that comes to mind. if you really value something, it would be difficult for negatives to get in the way.
if you could get him to read a book that will impress him about the beneficial things about juicing, for example a longer and higher quality life,

sorry wheatgrass yogi.....i think you missed the point of what i was saying about centrifugals. its about throwing away juice with pulp ...flat out throwing away your hard earned money ...especially with the high cost of organic and for that matter just regular veggies.

my advice to you unfortunate people who got suckered in on the jack lalanne thing is stay away from centrifugals. they are all basically the same as far as wetness of pulp is concerned. i learned my lesson they expensive way too!

alot of it has to do with your attitude, if you a negative minded person about the chore it will be more of a chore....if you have a positive attitude about it ..you will breeze right through it like it was nothing.

i mowed my lawn today. i need to use a lawn tractor because it is too big for push mower. i really hated to do it since it looked so beautiful...but it was about to get to a point of being hard to manage, so i mowed it.
