Well Heck

I stopped using the forum and then one day got a craving for a non-raw food and ate it and then ate a non-raw food the next day, etc. So I'm thinking that maybe I better keep reading and posting on these boards to keep myself eating raw!

Hi Molli,

My "slips" have all started with yielding to a taste of a cooked food I felt a craving for. I have found that when I get enough greens there aren't any cravings. My present diet has evolved to juicing greens & veggies and eating fruit as a whole food. This has worked the best for me of anything I have tried to date.
I have participated in the boards since i went raw (Aug 1, 07) and I continue to participate as I find it helps keep me fired up about raw and its benefits and also the board is a great source of "food for thought" about everything raw.

You're right Molli, the forum can have a profound benefit.

It's like advertising or what we hear in the mass media, we tend to think it can't affect us too much but it does effect us a lot!!!

Also, I find that the one or days AFTER the slip can require a little effort. I think it's because cooked food is so disasterously addictive.
