I had the same problem but then discovered for me that it is that I can only drink alkaline water easily. There are several brands out there like Iceland, Essentia, New Zealand, Fiji. I don't like to support buying so many bottles in plastic but find that this is best for me to stay hydrated now. I drink about 2 L per day.

Hi, my husband & I just moved to a cute little house in Southern NJ (Philadelphia metro area), we have a little yard where we'd like to start a garden this summer. We were wondering if there was any young single person on a similar wavelength who wanted to be part of our home for the summer. Our daughter will turn three in July. She is a charm but we could use a bit of help keeping her

They are old enough that they shouldn't "need" breastmilk. Alkalinity is important for everyone. Fresh fruits and veggies should be the focus with some fats. Will they drink green juice? Carrot-Romaine juice tastes like chocolate milk and is very kid friendly. Sliced banana with dabs of tahini is popular for breakfast. My daughter drank "baby shakes": a fruit, green an

I don't desire anything not raw so I don't eat it. But if you are still wanting cooked food I say go for it because otherwise you are by definition depriving yourself which doesn't lead to a joyful existence. Also it matters what cooked food you are eating that makes you not be 100% raw... I hate it when ppl. act like all "cooked food" is the same and is the devil. If the % you

I have brown eyes so the clarity changes more than the color. Coloring is more even and consistant with no spots along the iris.

Green juice and sprouts have lots of protein. Dates are in season now. You could use them instead of bananas for calories

It would be interesting to view a kirlian image of the powders to see if they are "alive". Juicing greens is better but if I am traveling without juice I use the powder.

Thanks Veronique!! I agree that DW does a lot more good than harm in this world. Many are brought to raw veganism by his antics and then find their own path from their. Like me! DW is how I found raw veganism. It has been a journey of tweaking it for me from there but we all have to start somewhere. People want to find a guru that they can trust and believe every word that comes out o

I have Dave Klein's book which I love, but he doesn't seem to speak much and I do not see much info about him around. Everytime I search for stuff about him I always find the same old picture so I am always curious what he looks like. No videos to be found of him on youtube or anything either. Has anyone met Dave Klein? He is a very successful long term long fruitarian it seems!

John, Sooo glad you are feeling a bit better! Have you tried celery juice? When I was pregnant I had low amniotic fluid and my midwives told me to drink lots of celery juice because it is 4x as hydrating as water (not sure how accurate that is)..but it did help alot. Missing Cali, it is getting cold here in NJ!

I am living on apples & dates (and my daily quart of green juice) lately! Candycrisp is great. There is a farm i go to in Connecticut that has rows lots of different types of apples on the wall. I feel like a kid in a candy store!

Poor kid, he is suffering from the health mistakes of his parents and his parents' parents. He has to release generations of toxic matter in his cells. Which can be done. Green juice coupled with colonics are key (the matter (tumor, cancerous cells) must dissolve and leave! and without surgery the most efficient way to do that is through the bowel.

I juice mine on a citrus juicer with oranges. It's not messy at all. I don't like the texture of the seeds but I love the juice!

You should always juice as the first thing (besides water) you eat during the day otherwise it will just bloat you if your stomach isn't completely empty.

Are the organic dates bought in the plastic containers in health food stores really raw? I've heard they are heat treated to kill insects. If so where can I buy really raw dates now. Has anyone bought from this company? www.dateland.com Are they really raw?

I think it is important to live in a place with a year round growing season. Food loses nutritional value quickly once picked and shipped. In order to succeed on the raw food diet in a healthy way one must have access to fresh organic produce of a high quality. I was living in Ojai CA a year ago and since moved back to the NY area. My health has significantly deteriorated - not only from l

Breakfast: Green Juice Lunch: Mono-Fruit or smoothie Dinner: Salad w. a handful of nuts or seeds Be careful of overeating nuts and seeds. It is better to eat some cooked veggies and sprouted grains to transition than to overeat nuts and seeds. That was my big mistake when I went raw. Gentle transition is key to detoxing. Going raw overnight from a mainstream diet is not successful in

I live in the Northeast (Massachusetts) so in the winter I really need a D3 supplement. The only 2 kinds at the health food store are from lanolin (wool) and fish. I tried taking a tsp. of cod live oil but it made me very sick and nauseous!
