Are you doing any colon cleansing? That's where you ingest herbs and they work like a facial on the walls of the colon and clean it? There are dozens of products and ways to do this so I wouldn't know which one is best for colon cancer but it's what I would do if I had colon cancer.

You think that's bad you should try hanging out on the Royal Forums. The mods there are called "super moderators" - probably because everyone else has a noble rank of some sort depending on how many messages they have posted. They pull no punches in making sure that fashion is discussed and that you don't wildly speculate about personal things. Examples: "Can we now get back on

Keep checking the kitchen section of the thrift stores everytime you go. My finds over the last 4 years include: A nearly new water distiller for $40. A nice food processor for $5,it was missing the slicing blade but I keep another one for slicing jobs and this one handles big loads. A nearly new food dehydrator for $6. Sometimes people get these things as gifts and then don't use the

Cinnamon does have some strong substance in it that's capable of melting weak plastics. I had heard of its insecticide qualities and I put some in a cup near the ants and left it for awhile and the cinnamon melted into the cup and the sides of the cup where the cinnamon was turned brown. I kept the cup for years and still used it, because it was part of a set, and repeated washing in the dish

I loved the big post from paragon! It neatly summarizes everything. Here's some info to deter you from eating the 1/3 of foods containing HFCS, high fructose corn syrup has mercury in it: The highest level of contamination found in the study was 0.57 micrograms of mercury per gram of HFCS. The EPA says that an average-sized woman should consume no more than 5.5 micrograms per day of mercury

I think the main problem with UVBs is that the eyes shouldn't be exposed to it for too long, so you have to protect your eyes while doing this. Just like these kids, I remember seeing this picture in an old National Geographic of Soviet kids being exposed to a lamp at school and they all have to wear goggles, and I was actually able to dig up an internet copy of that old picture: "L

Like rawrn, I think that it's how you take it that counts and that eating a little with food as kind of an enzyme supplement seems to be beneficial if you are eating a bad cooked-food diet.

Thanks everyone for the responses. No I don't know who it was who said that, I was listening to internet radio and was just flipping through. But it matches with what I've heard about Vitamin D production and with what I've been reading recently about supplementing reptiles with vitamin D. Vitamin D supplements don't work well with reptiles, so they use lamps. Probably the most interesting th

I heard on the radio that taking vitamin D will make your body stop producing vitamin D - I guess that's because it senses that you don't need any more vitamin D. I'm thinking that natural is always better so using a sunlamp might be better than taking a supplement. (Since I can't take a vacation to the tropics every month). So if you could buy a sunlamp to use for eposing your skin and ma

According to the EPA, only mail to certain zip codes in Washington DC is being irradiated. You can also tell if your mail has been irradiated because things will look irradiated. Quote: "mail often looks yellowed, and can become brittle. Book bindings may become brittle, and plastic may be discolored". Is my mail is being irradiated? Currently only mail to the White House, Con

I'm an American and I'm over the moon about it. What's there not to like about it? A perfectly normal romance by two nice people who (as non-movie actors and actresses) are having the most normal, non-showbiz-like relationship that's being closely followed in the news. The Americans are probably more over the moon than the royal "subjects" because we only get the cream of royal news

I've had a lot of doctors tell me to make sure to eat my fruits and vegetables and they do it in a way that makes me think that they believe in the power of fruits and vegetables. But if you go and call your diet a name, like "raw food", then red flags will come up because raw food is veiwed as an extreme diet. So just don't use the term raw food when you talk to your doctors, just say

As far as the 80 grams of protein, you have to remember that the RDAs were established primarily for groups like schools and the military. (In fact they got their start in 1940 duirng WWII as guidlines for how to feed the large numbers of people in the military). They also determined the minimum amount of a nutrient needed and then added safety margins, maybe they studied caffeteria and milit

1. Yes 2. Ok 3. Jury's Out 4. I drink when I'm thirsty, distilled water from my own distiller caught in a glass container. Distilled water is "thirsty" water and absorbs more toxins. I agree with drinking before meals, the water should be absorbed by the time food is eaten. 5. Sleep is good. 6. After you have been raw for awhile you will understand that raw is kind of like a skill - driving a car, playing an instrument or reading - and it takes a lot of practice and failure before you discover the perfect diet for YOU :-) I think you're doing awesome, if that's comfortable for you then keep it up until you learn more and want to add new foods. Your diet will probably be tottaly diff

Someone I knew was complaining of it and I looked it up in Wrong Diagnosis and they list so many causes that it will give you carpal tunel to scroll down them: Don't take that link seriously, ha, ha. Mayo Clinic has a shorter list and probably focuses on the major causes but there is still a wide variety of causes from medicines to earwax. Since you mentioned that you had a bout of constipa

I just watched this video on YouTube and the guy says that the study that was the basis for the Mediteranian Diet was a study done on the island of Crete after WWII when no one had any money so everyone was gardening and they walked about 9 miles a day. However, you have to consider that the olive tree is a hardy tree and the leaves have medicinal qualities so it's probably the best oil in

Right, I meant avoiding the bad calcium: calcium supplements, calcium fortified foods, hard water, mineral water ect there are 15 kinds of calcium listed in Wiki: A lot of mineral water and calcium supplements are made of Calcium carbonate (CaCO3) while our bones seem to be made of: Hydroxylapatite (Ca5(PO4)3(OH), but is usually written Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) makes up seventy percent of bone.
