I'm very much the same way. But there are at least two types of taste. A banana always tastes good, for example, but it doesn't always taste right. But yes, I'll eat anything if its good for me so long as it tastes "right" whether it tastes "good" or not. khale

It isn't a crime to want to make money Suvine. In formal training in the Western Mysteries the first thing the teachers will have you do is determine what you want to be and do. 9 out of 10 people want to make money. But establishing money as a goal is a lot like establishing health as a goal; neither are very effective in the long run as goals per se because they are both energy values rather

I like the G.T. Kombucha, but my body has to really want one or it doesn't taste or feel right. There are days it goes down really, really good and then days when I can barely handle a few sips at a time. I don't know why this is... ...but then, you know, a lot of things are really like this for me. sometimes a banana smoothie tastes like heaven on earth and on other days its not right somehow

good morning everyone sorry that I did not make it to the puter yesterday. It's been a challenging week. I've been back at my normal activities but with a steady drone of discomfort accompanying me the whole way. I am more and more sure that my discomfort is not of the back but merely coming through it and I am likely going to have to do some more investigating by way of tests, which I'll a

interesting discussion poverty is a frightful thing and few would willingly choose it the extremely wealthy and the extremely poor are in each others pockets; the one creates the other - this is hard to see, but it is so. To me, freedom is the ultimate value, not wealth. Therefore I oppose the presumed superiority of wealth and the wealthy. People are successful who follow their hearts,

mornin glories rawdanceruk: wow brokenbrooke: there is no balancing "good" and "bad". Consider that you decide what is "good" and what is "bad". If you deem something bad for you then no amount of good will make it less so. Instead of trying to balance "good" and "bad", try instead to focus on what you consider good and take your a

"meant"? to survive? this seems to me to assume a destiny preconceived. what if the future were being created every moment? that we, along with other moving forces, are actually creating the future as we step into it? In other words, that there is no future apart from NOW. NOW IS the future. I like this line from the movie "Men in Black": "People are not smart. Indi

Good morning everyone! Islandgirl and dewey: I will miss your daily posts. Please check in as often as you can and keep on pushing toward your goals. We'll be here if you need us. Yesterday I had cantaloupe mylk and then chunks of the flesh throughout the morning. After work I went to Jasons' Deli and had the salad bar. This held me for a long time and I actually didn't eat again until much

I enjoyed your discussion F1. I was left with the conviction that I should never look at another person again and say to myself that they will never, and that includes myself. There is this urge now to throw myself just a little bit closer to the edge. Thanks for that. khale

Good morning everyone... I want to start this second week by suggesting another "rule" for the group. Before I do I want to make sure that each of you realize that this is a round table support group and that each one of us may initiate new rules, make suggestions, and otherwise lead the group in positive directions. Just because I have one of the biggest mouths in the group doesn't

Here in Louisiana (which is where I, and Pakd4fun too, live btw Ashcat) we watch hurricanes pretty closely; this even before the fatefull Katrina, and so I was taking a look at the weather channel and realized that we have a few friends on this forum who may be affected by the monster that's out there now. I was thinking of "perbetty" in particular because I believe she said that she

What did I just say? No. It's not the food that we have in common, or not only. It's the desire to be our very best; to have radiant health and to see others with radiant health, and to take control of our own health and not leave it in the hands of others. THAT'S really what we all have in common. right? khale

Avocados blend very very well with just about everything, so they lend themselves well to sweet puddings. I've used cocoa powder and agave to make chocolate pudding which was quite good. Also mangos blended with avocados make a good pudding. The combination of avocado, apple, and carrot juice has incredible flavor and is naturally sweet and can be blended thick or thin, as either a smoothie or a

I'm so glad that the Nelson Mandela quote resonated with you guys. I actually have this quote copied on parchment suitable for framing and have it stored temporarily in a tube for safekeeping - so, yeah, its one of my favorites. Favorite dumb question of the week: "Why do you have to juice fast? Why can't you juice slow?" ...and my friend, not satisfied that he had sunk as low as

Yup Islandgirl, I know. It's self-sabotage out of fear of the powerful, free person in you waiting to come out. I'd bet money that EVERYONE can relate. Here's how Nelson Mandela put it: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to b

For those of you who don't know: I've been in terrible pain since last Saturday with what appears to be a back issue and I've been seeing a chiropractor every day since Tuesday of this week. Something interesting: While discussing my x-rays yesterday the doc glossed over the unusual appearance of my colon at the hepatic flexure and a small portion of the transverse colon. Please note that it i
