OK, let me re-phrase: What % of daily human activity IN THE GLOBAL MARKETPLACE do you think is due to stimulation (from stimulating food/drink)? What % of daily human activity IN THE GLOBAL MARKETPLACE do you think is due to natural energy and natural goals?

What % of daily human activity do you think is due to stimulation (from stimulating food/drink)? What % of daily human activity do you think is due to natural energy and natural goals? Is there any point to human activity that is not in harmony with the planet, that does not work to heal the planet (including us)?

If I stay away from fat my memory becomes extremely sharp. I can recall small details from years ago, almost as if all these details have been recorded somewhere... I rememeber reading on these boards once about someone developing videographic memory when fasting. I would guess it is a phase, although I wouldn't rule out high fat as a culprit if you consume it.

If the OP is mispelling salad on purpose, that's the OP's issue, not yours. Do you realize that not everyone's first language is English? The projection that goes on on this board is amazing. Like when I posted a survey and suddenly this long-time passionate raw foodist was treated like a suspect. Or when "Fud" posted something and Bryan projected what his name MIGHT stand for.

In my experience, salt is highly addictive, almost like a drug. If I completely eliminate exogenous salt from my diet, I never crave it nor do I ever think about it. However, if I go to a raw restaurant and eat just one meal of salted raw food, I will crave salt for DAYS afterwards. IMO this is not a nutritional craving but a craving for the stimulation salt provides.

I recommend going to a local Thai restaurant if there's one in your area, and asking a Thai person inside if they know the closest place to buy durian.

<the guy i've been w/ off and on for 3 years now is a total meat-eater, beer-drinker, and he even smokes on occassion (which i most definitely don't like but i don't nag, as it's his body, not mine). there's something kind of freeing about being w/ a guy who doesn't care about what he puts in his mouth.> I've been that guy before and yes, it was fun to just "let loose" and &quo

elnatural's been on these forums for a LONG time and he is definitely not a troll. What I understood Al's post to mean is that bitter dandelion is considered toxic in Natural Hygiene, and that Bryan doesn't eat them because he follows Natural Hygiene (i.e. Doug Graham's program). That is why I didn't see disparagement or judgment. Where is the insult in this?

I don't see any disparagement or judgment in elnatural's post. I see disagreement, but that's about it. IMO you are seeing things in his post that are not there.

I see a world where the ego is supplanted and almost all human energy is focused on growing nutritious food locally; on living in self-sustaining towns and villages; where we do not chase after external wants due to internal stimulation; where cellphones, space travel, radio waves and all sources of pollution seen and unseen are abolished; where there is no competition among humans; where mineral

I tried some unpollenated dates from a farmers markets a few months ago... They're seedless and small because they're not pollenated. I was really enjoying them because they were less sweet than most dates, then about an hour later I became very spaced out and couldn't think straight. It was a really strange experience and I never felt like that before or since in all my years raw. It was as

My opinion: Cacao nibs are toxic. They are bitter and the taste must be masked with something sweet to make them palatable for most people. If you have no other stimulants in your diet (no spices or salt or anything else that stimulates the nervous system) and eat cacao nibs, they will have a strong amphetamine effect. This is the "truth" of cacao. JMO.

Hey Lois, Although I was pretty infuriated last night by your VT conspiracy spam, I didn't mean to push you away. Perhaps like Jgunn wrote, there is a compromise? One thread per inflammatory subject would be plenty. I would definitely voice my opinion in that thread, but then it wouldn't feel like the board was being taken over by such material. And thanks Suzie.

Just because it's posted on an alternative/conspiracy website, doesn't mean it's true! Wake up Lois! I'm actually with Jim Big Bear on this one. The VT conspiracy threads are insane. I'm ashamed that these threads are being posted on a raw foods website.
