I think about this too. It seems I am robotically doing lots of things related to artificially-generated stimulation, one thing requiring the others, interdependant necessities........ arghh! Trying to simplify requires an overall change, and am lately wondering how far I feel like going..... Good post, thanks.....

Burts Bees (I think) makes a great one for men, but women use it too. I make it at home and give it to anyone who will try it! Of course when totally raw, nothing is needed, but lots of ppl need or want a deodorant. This recipe works better than anything I know: half cup water half cup ethanol few drops real essence of lavandin few drops real essence of lemon few drops real essence of sag

Our bodies do all kinds of things while detoxing, you probably shouldnt worry. My opinion is that transitioning is different for everyone and that if you want your evening drink, just do it. You probably wont want them as you get cleaner and then you wont even miss them!

Lots of rawfoodists avoid eating coconuts, but ppl transitioning are more lenient with themselves. Probably not good to eat them very often,

I would eat or juice more vegies, esp. celery, for a balanced mineral source. I have a total intolerance to added salt so have to do the above.

Years ago I stayed in West Palm Beach, Fla., at a Natural Hygiene fasting place owned by Dr. Esser. He did allow a little cheese occasionally, but otherwise the meals were really simple and all raw: bowl of sweet fruits with greens for breakfast or lunch, bowl of citrus and nuts or seeds for breakfast or lunch, vegies for dinner - not sure what we had for dinner, actually. Everything was whole an

All my life I have either peeled them and composted the skins and pith, or quartered them with a knife and chewed off the juicy part. Someone showed me how they prepare them in Brazil and I like this way much better: use a serrated knife or veg peeler to saw just the orange peel off, leaving as much pith as possible. It only takes one or two minutes and you all the bioflavonoids, etc in the p

Best of all, my mom went through an amazing metamophosis a few years ago when she took a bad fall that knocked her brain circuitry around (I think it was NDE), and since then she's been my best friend and biggest fan. Knocked some sense into her own head - hee-hee --- Just kidding!

I notice lots of posters here speak english as a second language and sometimes wonder what their first languages are. My first language is English but I speak French and am learning Portuguese. Language is such a great way to connect to a different culture, and I wish I could speak lots of them. I would love to know what other languages are lurking here. Please post them!

I had tons of anger from suppressed memories of molestation and from Narcissistic Personality Disorder and denial and ignorance in my family. Anger = depression for many people, which it did for me. And my anger made me really sick. I thought I knew how to deal with it but never actually followed the guidelines - until a couple of years ago. Huge difference for me now. Most of the things that

Hi all, I live in Kits in Vancouver. Really loving Vancouver weather lately - I can smell the lilacs in the yard and next month the linden trees will give off that fantastic scent for about 3 weeks. I wonder who else on this board is nearby, maybe this bump will flush some out. Cheers! Jill

I only tried two commercial ones and they were almost useless and the ingredients were questionable, though they came from the natural food store. I tried vinegar with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda for wax. It works but not that well. Now I just soak produce in a tap water and food grade hydrogen peroxide solution for a few minutes before using. Try www.care2.com for ideas.

If you want to unclog your skin, put some lemon juice on it for a few minutes, then rinse off. It might sting, so you could dilute it. Works great, do more than once a day.

Hi Fuzzysox, I want to give you a link to a guide for cell salts, which are homeopathically prepared. Ive been using them for almost a year for a problem I have and one of them helps so much, that I cant do without it. Scroll down and read about the 12 cell salts and think about your overall symptoms. You might need more than one. I buy Hyland brand Cell Salts (or tissue salts, as some ppl cal

Yeah, I have a terrible sensitivity to the chemicals. My body is really weak now and I have to avoid lots of normal activities like movie theatres, gas stations, visiting stores and homes which use artificial chemical scents in their cleaning products, etc. They are bad for everyone and known to contain not only highly toxic chemicals, but also xenoestrogens, which disrupt healthy hormonal a
