Pikt, That fatigue is not a bad thing. Often it happens when people stop eating the bad stuff that was stimulating them and masking the underlying fatigue. It can also be due to the body throwing off the old poisons. The best thing for you would be to rest or sleep when you're tired. Once you get through the fatigue and caught up on the 'sleep debt', you'll feel like a new person. It will

Ian, I'm in Iowa. There are advantages to being here, but winter fruits and veggies are not one of them. I go nuts when I visit California whole foods stores.

Tropical, I had the Smooth Move tea the night before and the SW still stayed in and made me feel crappy all day long. The SWF is an old Indian/yogi technique, been around since way before the MC. I tried it long long ago, many times, with the correct salt/water ratio, the proper type of salt, etc. etc. and it just *&#$ing doesn't work for me. I wish it did. I often have the runs all d

Jadedshade, Of course people don't die from drinking a little salt water in the flush. The don't die from salting their food, either or from eating meat or any of the other junk foods in the SAD diet. The don't die immediately, they get sick and die slowly from them. Again, try going without salt for a month and then taste it and you'll know what FruityJules and I mean.

Narz, They don't drink the seawater, at least not on purpose. If you go salt-free for a while, you'll know what I mean. Salt-free means no nama shoyu, olives, miso, etc.

I agree with FruityJules. I've tried that salt water flush several times, with precisely the 'right' amount of salt etc. and never eliminated with it, just felt bloated and toxed out from the salt, which WAS absorbed. That stuff is poison.

I haven't followed that one. I tried another one a few years ago that involved all sorts of supplements but didn't notice anything from it. I've been using zeolite for about a month now and feel a lot better - more energy, stamina, etc. Here's some info:

Hi, Mike, Thanks for the clarification. I confess to some bewilderment at those who try to take the Bible literally. Among other observations: They are so selective in what they apply! I don't see them stoning and smiting, for instance. (good thing, too!) I have my first batch of kraut marinating now, with the E3 I got from you, and that great kit. Started it on Saturday. It's starting

bibboraw, I agree with trinity. There's a really good doctor, Dr. Fuhrman (http://drfuhrman.com/) who believes raw with some cooked is healthier. He's an MD and natural hygenist, uses fasting and diet. I'm quite favorably impressed with his stuff. Anyhow, you might want to check out his site and if you live nearby go for a visit. People who follow his diet advice (which he has in a book), seem

Lately I like green puddings better than the smoothies. I put everything in the Cuisinart, minus the water, and it comes out quite delicious. Yesterday's was 2 apples, 2 pears, a couple of dates, and a bunch of cilantro. Very easy and yummy.

JoeSee, Here's another way to eat those 5 fruits first: Put them in your food processor with some greens. I just made some with 2 pears and 2 apples and a bunch of cilantro. It made up about 2 cups of this bright green pudding that is delicious. And it will really get the digestion moving!

It would be interesting to get the water tested. Snow has to come through the atmosphere and logically must pick up whatever pollution is there. I would imagine that well water or spring water, having been filtered through the earth, would be purer. On the subject of water, how do you get your distilled water? I use Mountain Valley bottle water (in glass). When I try distilled, I taste the pl

About the prunes, you buy them dried and then set them in a bowl of water overnight. Use enough water to fully cover the prunes, and then some, because they're going to swell up. In the morning they'll be all plumped up and soft. Be sure to get organic prunes that haven't been treated with sulfur dioxide. While it's true that the clif bars, granola, nuts, burrito and even pasta do have fiber

I just experimented with raw spiced walnuts using agave. I soaked the walnuts, tossed them with agave and salt and a little chili spices and put them in the dehydrator. The agave thickened somewhat, maybe not enough for a real caramel but getting there. There's some real gooey residue on the dehydrator sheet.

Minou, I also love almond milk, but don't peel the almonds. I do what Emmylou does: the color is slightly brown but that's okay with me. Once in a while I'll peel the almonds for a special dessert. The quickest way I know to do that is to let them soak overnight. Then, instead of peeling the almond with my bare hands, I put the almond in a rough white kitchen towel and pinch and squeeze the

This is an interesting topic to me, too. I've been non-raw for a while and just recently got back on. I have previously done the raw diet a number of different ways, originally very strictly with no salt or condiments, no packaged foods at all, no dehydrated foods, and little fat (no oils). Then, I ate a mono fruit diet during the day and a large raw vegetable salad at night, seasoned with a
