One thing I read recently was that more people die during the holidays than any other time of the year. The reason may be too much food and less exercise. At work there is Christmas candies everywhere, people constantly eating. Gone are the days in the history of mankind where there were periods of famine and the body had to rely on its stored nutrients.

The missing nutrients in the long run will catch up with them and they die young. The lesson from this is that most of us have health problems because we eat toooooooooo much. I n

I have tried fermentation for more than a month now it works. Maybe Lawrence Wilson does not have the facts right. Too much of it is bad of course, too much water drinking is bad too.

Yes John is a great contributor. He provides good insight and great reference. I will get a home colonic system and for regular use and buy one session per month with the professionals.

What about the home colonic board? Cheaper than the professional administered colonics which will run you about 80 dollars per session.

Moderation is the key. Digestion takes too much energy from the body so eating nutrients packed food but less is a win. LUIGI CORNARO LIVED 102 YEARS on a minimal diet of twelve ounces a day. Most of us are constantly eating especially during the holidays, jars of nuts, candies, basket of fruits, juices,.... and the list goes on. All of these is before or after the real meal.

We ought to make a difference between the diet BEFORE and the diet AFTER modern life. In Africa it is the same problem. Where there was physical activity, daily work at the farm now most are eating with no activity no exercise. People are getting fat with all of the associated health problems. It is not just the diet, the food, it is the lifestyle.

You are right lisa, freezing is far better than any other alternatives. For me I always have the ingredients not to far, the indoor greens and the sprouts. When I travel I eat local fruits.
