Yes, a good message indeed. Read most of it in books by Napoleon Hill, and a few other notable authors but it was nice seeing it presented on film with a few of my favorite people. Specifically, Bill Harris of The Centerpointe Institute. His Holosync program has changed my life dramatically over the past few years. I highly recommend it to all. Anyway, thanks. I will check out the books. P

Oh Dear, Welcome to my world! I don't wish this kind of frustration on anyone but, when I went vegan over twenty years ago,I got the same line of questioning. Guess what? I'm still getting it twenty years later. It gets easier with time. My one suggestion to you is to actually become an quick reader and start reading anything and everything you can get your hands on about vegan and/or raw food

It has nothing to do with protein. So many things are required for healthy hair but every vegetable and fruit you eat has protein. Many raw foodists believe that "protein" is some miracle amino acid or vitamin. It's not. You get plenty enough protein by eating two leaves of lettuce. However, I recommend that you start to supplement your diet with raw hemp seed. This is the most complete

OMG, direct UV rays torturing your skin. Eeek. No way I would ever subject my skin or body to such direct harm. As for your fibrocystic disease, have you heard about vitalzym or zymitrol? Both are made by the same creator. If not, check out and get the cd from Dr. Wong. I prefer zymitrol because the formula is stronger but, I've learned from trial and error that the bottle should be refrigerated

367. Breathing
Anyone here think they know how to breathe properly? Well, so did I until I accidentally stumbled on to a link of the website, The Optimal Breathing Store, . It's run by a raw foodist named Michael White. I just got my dvd, strap, and a few cd's and I feel like I'm just learning how to breathe properly for the first time in my life. I definately recommend that you all check out the website. His 1

veganlife, Actually, quinoi and many others start off as sprouts, if my memory serves me. Same thing for oats. Wheat and barley are true grasses loaded with chlorophyll. Also, rice is not really sproutable. It is possible to find some wild rice, which is not a true rice, that can be sprouted but that is as close as you'll get to sprouted rice. Hope this helps. I only juice barley and wheatgras

Reuben, No one here is planning on doing an enema or colon hydrotherapy on a daily basis. First off, it's unrealistic because it takes preparation. Secondly, it is time consuming and none of us can afford to do it daily. However, we are all striving to clean out our bodies so, while your information is helpful, we don't want to send out the wrong messages. I am a firm believer and advocate

I actually have just started using Dr. Natura and am having amazing results. I plan on doing a few enemas this week with my stainless steel enema and latex free hoses that I got from optimal health network several months back. I found dr natura after ordering the almighty cleanse from itv. Without even opening the box I called ITV for a return authorization because I knew Dr. Natura was "it

Helen, You're a lifesaver. Matt Goodman is the guy I was looking for. I'm in the process of putting together a raw foods magazine, which has taken a long time because of so many other things I'm involved with, and I want to interview him for an article on MS and raw foods. Thank You, thank you, thank you. Peace,

Hi Lois, The product line I used to enjoy is called Lamas Beauty. The line is all vegan and has some chemicals but is not overloaded with them like mainstream cosmetica land. Miessence has proved to be the best of both worlds as I continue testing out products from my own skin care line. Yes, it's good to have friends that you can just hand something to and say "try this". A woman fr

Lois, If you have a rebounder you should check out some of the videos offerred by urbanrebounding. Their programs are the best. It's funny but I noticed a new competitor to urban rebounding but they have nothing on JB Berns product or videos. Their rebounder was a cheap knockoff with elastic bands replacing the steel springs. The videos looked totally hokey and poorly made with a lame routine.

Hey Veganlife, Look through all of the literature and your serial number should be contained within. I looked at my Z-Star and can't fine a S/N on it but I believe it was on a card that came with the machine. It probably says "keep this in a safe place". If you can't find it then contact the company who sold it to you and ask them where to find it. Also, it is a very durable mach

Omg, I use it for everything. It's as major part of my natural skin care line, Made By Mark, I use it as a supplement, in smoothies, in salad dressings and everywhere else. I have even used it to condition wood furniture and my bamboo cutting board. Read Bruce Fife's Book, The Coconut Oil Miracle and you will learn how truly versatile this oil is. Peace, Here's a link to the Coconut O

Prism, They're out there. Also, the few retreats around will probably not be using chlorine in their pools. There is a sudden awareness of how damaging chlorine is to our bodies and those homeopathic/holistic practitioners steer clear of using anything harmful to the body. I know that Mike Nash does some kind of a retreat or is part or one. I will search through a few newsletters and post anot

Yes, cleaning from the inside out my friend. Pimples are a sign of toxicity. It means your body is trying to expel some of the toxic substance. Colon hydrotherapy, enemas, combined with a good diet and incorporating the water cure into your lifestyle will clear up those pimples once and for all. Also, I do recommend using a good skincare line. My personal line is not complete at this time but Mi

Hey Folks, I know this topic has been discussed before but I can't pull up any threads. Anyway, does anyone know of any websites that I could point a friend to besides Mathew Grace's? I have found another website of this guy that had cured himself through raw foods and can't find it anymore. Please post all the links you know of. Banana's reach their peak with they become spotted. This is when the potassium, that that are rich in, is made available to the body. Eating a banana that is unripe is like eating iceburg lettuce; no nutritional value. That's it. Ripe, or not at all. Peace,

Depends. I use maca powder, hemp seed, E3 Live and a few other things. I'm not into vitamins but I do take a b12 vitamine. E3 live is mixed in with smoothies or taken straight. Maca, Hemp Seed, Coconut Oil are usually mixed in with smoothies that I make throughout the day. My b12 vitamin just gets washed down with water. Peace,

Ahh, good question. This was a natural transition to me. I had been a vegan for twenty years and had been reading information on natural hygiene and raw food for most of that time. I knew that Natural Hygiene had major issues and so going forward toward a standard, vegan, raw food diet was more appropriate for me. The good thing is that, without being negative, vegans that become raw usually have

Personally, I don't drink it but there is a restaurant in NYC called Pure Food and Wine that does offer wine with raw foods. To me, it's a personal decision. Obviously, organic wine or beer with no or little sulfites is healthier than the other option but it all depends on you. I don't get upset with myself if I have a small glass of wine occassionally or a a beer but I don't make a habit of it.
