Echo, I'd recommend that you hold out for either an urban rebounder or a needak. Both are very good and have strong, steel springs to absorb the shock. I've noticed another infomercial on the tube that tries to promote their "rebounder" as better because it doesn't have any springs that you can get hurt on. Instead they use stupid elastic loops that are subject to wear and tear and b

I do urban rebounding 5 days a week and am just starting to get into building my body without weights. I still use kettelbells and clubbells but Matt Furey so inspired me with the ripped physique he has built with "no weights" that I just ordered his program. Cheers,

rawallison, Yes, it's very easy and safe to make at home. Just go to and click on the kombucha links on the left. The entire kit, including a heating pad, 5 gallon container, kombucha, ph test strips, should run you about $70.00 + s&h. This is a one time expense because, once you get the kombucha started you simply need to "add to the mix" to keep it working. That said, you won'

Raw Daddy, Yes, I was totally stoked when I realized he had gotten that way without weights. You guys have all inspired me and I love my kettlebells and clubbells but I'd much rather build my body naturally with no weights at all and I know if Matt Furey can get that kind of body from no weights then so can I. I'm going to order his program this week and probably join his inner circle as well.

Hey Raw Daddy, Here's another link I found and this guy friggin rawks! Not sure if you've heard of him before. I saw an ad of his in Mother Jones New Magazine and his name sounded familiar. I think another raw foodist had recommended him to me and I simply forgot. Anyway, this guy has a physique that most people would beg for and he got it all without weights. Check out his website.

Lisa, If you check the instructions on happy herbalist.com they tell you that anything longer than fifteen days is too long because the taste will become vinegary. Personally, I use florida crystals because it's close to being granulated but not "white". I have no white anything in my house. I figured that this sugar would work since it's purer than white sugar. Time will tell. Pe

Folks, This is a vegan site. No animal products at all. So, with respect to others, please do not discuss animal flesh, eggs, or pollen as animals are all harmed, or subjected to some form of slavery to acquire them. Peace,

sweterson, I would never buy kombucha personally as it's fairly easy to make at home. Also, many folks that create it for you use caffeinated tea, which is unnaceptable to me. Also, it is a fermented drink and can taste different depending on the tea that was used. I recently purchased a starter set from using rooibos - which contains no caffeine. I have also had kombucha made with peppermint

That would be blending three meals a day. No one juices three meals a day because they're leaving all the valuable fiber that is essential to our diets. Juicing is ok as part of your diet but if you're gonna grind up 3 meals a day then make it blending. Check the food prep board for recipes or ask for help there. I know someone will post a message with recipes to help you out. Peace,

I have done the Master Cleanse 2x's so far and absolutely love it. I didn't feel hungry at all while I was doing it but, thanks to Stanley Burroughs, I was very careful about what maple syrup I used. There are plenty of them out there that still use formaldehyde in their process and who wants that in their bodies? Anyway, Spring Tree is good and Maple Valley as well. The first time I did the MC I

Also, starting a regular colon cleansing program is right for this time. I posted another message on a thread above this one with links to the optimal health network, Dr. Natura, and Health and Yoga. You can stimulate detox but there is a lot of nasty stuff in your colon and body that must be purged. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water. I can't say enough great things about the watercur

Rosemary, Have you started doing any colonic hydrotherapy or enema's? If not, then this is the time to start. One of the best internal cleansing products I've found is Dr. Natura . I would also recommend that you purchase an enema kit from the optimal health network. Here's a link to the one I use . Also, the neem powder from Health and Yoga, who I originally bought my enema kit from, has neem

345. Re: salt
Sweterson, Are you doing the watercure? If so, how much salt are you adding to your water? Also, are you drinking the proper amount of water for your bodyweight? These things all factor into your getting the right amount of water. I know when I first started adding salt to my water, as prescribed by Dr. Batmanghelidz, I was drinking around 120 oz of water a day or more because I felt dehydrate

You go RawDaddy, That rawks. Just make an investment in Pavels dvd and you'll be crunching out doing those one armed pullups in no time with no assist. Keep it up guy, it inspires me to do more myself. Of course, after I get off of the rebounder I'm totally wiped. JB Berns has really created some awesome dvd's and they totally kick my butt. Peace,

Personally, I recommend the ktec, or blendtec total blender. It's a 3hp power blender that is faster, more powerful and easier to store in a cupboard than a vitamix. The vitamix is only 2 hp and the difference in power does show. The blendtec line is world famous and Starbucks has a commercial model in all of their stores. So, you know that you're getting something that's going to last if starbuc

cfd, Don't do it. Get a ktec total blender. It's a more powerful blender at 3hp, compared to 2, and it blends everything. I gave up my vitamix years ago and have never looked back since getting my ktec champ hp3, now callled the ktec total blender. Of course, if you can find a ktec champ hp3 then buy it. It's the prior model that comes with an 8 year warranty. Peace,

Personally, if you want a good juicer that works I recommend the Breville Juice Fountain Plus, model number JE95XL. This is a leading juicer in Australia and is finally making a name for it's line in the U.S. I even saw it in Bed, Bath and Beyond next to the Lalanne juicer. However, I would purchase this one any day over the Lalanne. Oh wait, I did, after reading the horrible reviews about Jack L

I highly encourage you to take a systemic enzyme supplement such as what Dr. Wong on totalityofbeing.com suggests. He is a strong, and firm supporter of vitalzym, as I am, but isn't aware that one of the originators of this product came out with a new one called zymitol. Anyone, over the age of 27, who thinks that they are getting enough enzymes to restore what has been washed away through improp

Hey Folks, Normally, I would post this kind of message under the "other health related" board but I decided to post it here because many of you never browse to that board. So, here goes nothing. Hey cfd7f, You know who has a top, shape body that only does free weights. It's a guy named Marc Goldman, who cured himself from MS through raw foods. Check out the pictures of him on his website. He uses no weights at all to keep in shape. Peace,

Ahh, so you finally discovered the mushroom did ya? LOL. The Washington Post did a great article a few months back about a woman that was doing some work in Russia for about six months. The gave her a jar of this weird cloudy mixture. It turned out to be kombucha. She brought it all the way back with her and continued feeding the culture. Unfortunately, she had to travel and left her kombucha beh

sodoff, that's funny. No, I weight about 150-155 lbs. So Coco is right about me and about herself as well. Heck you lose half the water you put into your body through swetting, sleeping and just living. No one realizes that you lose moisture just by breathing cause it's a natural thing. Oh wait, what about tear ducts? Ever think about those? Limited water to the body = dry eyes. Anyway, that's it

Yes, The brand I prefer is living harvest hemp seed. You can do a search online and find it. Also, Nutiva now offers organic, hemp seed and they are a bit less expensive than living harvest. Here are a few links for you. On their website the store finder listed the following stores that carry their products in IA. 1. Campbell's Nutrition University 2. John's Natural Foods

The discoveries that Dr. Batmanghelidj made, while he was living on mother earth, are nothing short of miraculous. Then, if you decide to start following the watercure, invest in a stainless steel water bottle from . I keep two 40 oz. bottles on hand all the time. I drink exactly one 40 o
