The energy soup that I have made consists of: handful of buckwheat sprouts handful of sunflower sprouts 1 carrot wedge of onion clove of garlic small spoonful of miso 1 avocado small bunch of dulse wedge of lemon This is what we made at a retreat center I worked at last summer. Each day we added various spices to change the flavor.

I feel that in preparing beautiful organic raw foods for others you are giving a gift. It might not be what you choose to eat. But what an improvement for the general population that might delight in your creations. I am starting a personal cheffing business and am currently making loads of organic homemade medicinal soups and stews for others. Even though I aspire to be raw, I feel that my soups

BTW - The author of that book is Carr. Also, as I have experienced, I believe that addiction receives more energy and gets worse the more we judge it and try to get rid of it. I find that becoming more aware of what I am doing, really watching it, and not making it so bad tends to ease the stress I feel and give me more space to succeed.

Even though I am not posting questions....Try reading "The Easy Way to Quit Smoking." I has worked for millions and many friends of mine. I am reading it now. Apparently you smoke your way through it and quit easily and readily by the end....

BTW - I am not taking a break because I don't believe in this way of living. I just have to choose it from a deep part inside of me instead of because I am listening to what another says is or is not right. I totally suport and encourage everyone on this board and their journey. I honor the choices you are making and look forward to coming back when I have spoken up for my truth and actually chos

101. Thank You
Dear Forum Members: I just wanted to thank you all for all of your compassionate responses to my queries throughout the past year or so. I am very appreciative of your love and insight. I have decided to forego external influences right now, as I feel it best to dig deep within myself and abide by my own truths regarding lifestyle choices, diet, career, relationships, etc. I have been giving m

So TCM says that someone with weak kidneys, spleen, pancreas, should not eat raw foods - That it will weaken them further. What do you guys think of this? Anyone have experience with having such a condition helped by raw foods.

I am far off from that now which is why I am sad. I have the potential to thrive and am throwing it all away due to an inability to feel what is in my heart. I posted the pictures as a reminder of my true essence. I pray everyday th

This is me after a fast living on fruit (which lasted a month....) This is me cooked (Bear in mind that this is two years ago - Two more years of abuse have done me in but I have no photos to show you my present state of chalkiness and puffiness and fatigue - Luckily I think that until recently my inner light gave me a glow no matter how bad I treated my body - But that can't last

I am making homemade soups for women around Boulder, taking care of children, and assisting children's yoga classes. I am not all raw now but even if I was I think the soup thing would be something I enjoy. I make healthy, beautiful, colorful soups, and my friends love them.

OK. So this may seem random. It is. I was just wondering if anyone wanted to explore living in Boulder for a while. I am thinking of trying to find someone to come and live with me for a while in exchange for room and board so that I can have a supportive and healthy person around me to help me get to the other side of my addictions. Reading the posts here and seeing how kindly you all treat your

I got mine from eating a 5-10K calorie a day doughnut, cookie, ice cream, muffin diet for 16 years, exercising two to three hours a day, smoking, stripping for work and staying up until 5 am, drinking, and ignoring unresolved trauma issues and emotions. I still have not been able to stop abusing my body despite how bad it hurts. Sometimes I wonder if I will make it. Actually I wonder this all of

May I ask your reasons for developing adrenal fatigue? Was it related to illness, diet, lifestyle? I am curious.... I am sorry to hear that. I too have it. It indeed is a bummer.

So you all know I have struggled with health adn overeating for years. It is really bad and my body has fallen apart. My friends are all watching in horror as I kill myself. I think I have resigned myself to dying. I have all but given up. My doc just did some tests that show that I have some advanced e coli bacteria stuff. He says that without antibiotics I run the risk of death. And he prescrib

I am not sure how deficient I am, as the doc is sending me the bloodwork now. But he called me three weeks ahead of our appointment saying that it was crucial for me to get on vitamin D - So I assume it is significant. I read that this can be the cause for schizophrenia. Not that I have this - But I am definitely unstable and experience drastic alterations in moods - Mostly depressed though.

I agree with you all. But when you have serious overgrowth and parasites are supplements not necessary? And I do not know what to take in addition to changing my diet. One good thing is that my dad is paying for the doc - So part of me feels that I should go in the case that he does suggest something that resonates. I am not interested in what he has to say about diet nor am I interested in a bun

when you are struggling with potentially fatal levels of yeast in parasites, you need more than diet i believe. i have water fasted twice for 21 days, gone to OHI for a month, eating raw a month here and there, and each time I left better but unable to stay away from sugar and junk due to the beasties living inside of me. Sometimes I think supplementation and help is crucial. diet is HUGE. the bi

OK. So I have appointments with two healers coming up to address the fungus and parasites in my body. I have them both to such a degree that treatment through diet is not enough alone. One guy is an MD, holistic in his bent, who through tests will be able to see exactly what strains of what I have and prescribe medications or supplements as needed. He is excellent. Another woman uses a BodyScan m

So I have an appointment with a fancy doctor here in Boulder next week. I don't want to go. I have given so much of my power over to healers and think that I have a lot of the answers inside. Diet is a huge part of getting well. And for that I believe in raw. I am taking zeolites for heavy metals to begin with and then need to cleanse my body of parasites and yeast. Do any of you have any product
