This is me after a fast living on fruit (which lasted a month....) This is me cooked (Bear in mind that this is two years ago - Two more years of abuse have done me in but I have no photos to show you my present state of chalkiness and puffiness and fatigue - Luckily I think that until recently my inner light gave me a glow no matter how bad I treated my body - But that can't last

I was wondering if anyone her had personal experience with ad's. I do not want to hear third-party opinions. Of course they are drugs and have risks. But so do depression and the accompanying self-harm behaviors. I am thinking of going on Wellbutrin to fight smoking and compulsive eating. I just want to hear from those who have or are taking them.....

It is OK. I used it for about a year and then it broke. The water seemed OK. I think one can do better. But for the price perhaps it is the best.

I love juice everyday. I drink a quart of green juice mid-day. I think for people like you and me, people who have challenges assimilating and digesting, juice is awesome. It is a sure-fire way to know that your cells are getting some instant nutrition and necessary vitamins and minerals. Juice feels like nectar in my body.

One more clarification. I am not denouncing this way of eating at all. Otherwise I would not be here. It resonates with me. But there are many healthy, evolved, wise people who live very full and beautiful lives with cooked food. They believe in what they are doing. Just as the persons here believe in what they are doing. Belief and faith is a big part of the game.

Oh - I also don't buy it that all cooked foods are bad and harmful. I think that thinking is extreme and inaccurate.

This quote is totally wrong. Sorry. I know from first hand experience. One can become very addicted to things they are allergic to. One can become addicted to sweets when they have a fungal and yeast imbalance. One can become addicted to starches since they temporarily raise serotonin levels - Often times people who are depressed seed treatment in food rather than medication. It would be nice if

OK. I am revoking my suggestion. While I am not a vegan, I just read that Creon is pork-based. That totally grosses me out. I will just try to up my use of Enzylase. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck!

I do take what is considered one of the highest potency enzymes with meals - Enzylase. It is not strong enough still. Creon is in a league of its own. Some people need more than store-bought enzymes.

Hello. Welcome to this board. I know that prescription meds are not the greatest. But I just started taking Creon, a prescription strength enzyme, for digestion issues that also are quite serious. It has helped my bowel function tremendously and I feel that I am metabolizing food for the first time in years. If you have insurance it might be worth checking out.

I am thinking of stopping eating by 2 pm in order to curb overeating at night. Juice in evening. Solids during the day. I think that will help my morning dance classes as well.

Yes. I did go to Hippocrates. I would happy to answer any questions you might have. The biggest down side is it is EXPENSIVE! The upside - Tons of support - And Brian is a great speaker - He shuns fruit though

I just got the results back from a state of the art food sensitivity test called Leap. The results were disheartening. I am allergic to almost everything. Fruit wise, I am allergic to bananas, cherries, strawberries, grapes, apples, pears, avocadoes. A ton of veggies. Pretty much all nuts and seeds and legumes. I am OK with quinoa, amaranth, millet, fish, game, chicken, lamb, olive oil. The quest

I think we hold onto excess weight when we ingest toxins. By eliminating these I think the body naturally drops weight despite caloric intake. That is the case for me at least. I have been on very high calorie diets of fruits and veggies and dropped weight despite food ratiosa and choices. An equivalent diet of wheat and refined sugars makes me bloat up. Water weight and toxins trapped in the tis

Thank you all so much for your compassionate and helpful responses. As always I feel so much love on this board. Ashlee: I am sorry to hear that you are in pain. I have a lot of things going on at once and my symptoms are thus related to more than one thing. What I think is related to the pancreatitis per se is abdominal bloating that is quite severe the moment i take a bite of food a

Once I was in an eating disorder treatment center and they gave us all one raisin to eat mindfully. I realized I had never ever really looked at a raisin or tasted it. To become fascinated with it, to see its pattern up close, to feel its texture, and to trace every fiber as it hit all parts of my mouth was nothing short of miraculous. Amazing!

I can relate on a different level. While not raw, I am extremely sensitive. I am the "delicate flower" of my clan. I am sensitive to foods, energies, lights, temperatures, fabrics, chemicals, noise. I cannot imagine this being heightened. Inded being sensitive is a gift. But in this overstimulating culture, unless major lifestyle accomodations are made, I mean major, it can be exhaustin

I think that it is dangerous to equate eating with religion. Period. The divine is personal to each person. Eating a certain way will not make you any more devout or spiritual than the next. Clearer perhaps. I don't think this is what you are alluding to at all. But there are many in this movement who think this is the only way to eat - Just like Christians think their God is the only God. They t

here i find myself again. i always seem to get pointed back to this way of living although I have yet to adopt it. i was in the er three days ago for intestinal blockage. a result of my cooked diet. not too bad. but tons of hard to digest veggies, oils, animal products, etc. i then got a test back indicating that i have chronic pancreatitis - meaning one step away from diabetes type 2. i also am

You could be detoxing. Sometimes we hold onto water as a way to dilute toxins released into the bloodstream. Just an idea.

180 ingredients is a lot! I personally would not do well with such a complex product. Undoubtedly I would be allergic to many of them. But if you can do anything and everything at once - More power to you. It otherwise sounds great!
