I have a very close friend who is having heart troubles. - most probably occlusion of arteris. He is at a teachable moment, yet a very scientific mind that requires proof and data. Does any one have any experience with raw and heart problems - or know anyone who has. Thank you so much! Piano Gal

I had your same exact experience until I de-emphasized the high-glycemic fruits I was eating - pineapple, grapes, dried fruit, dates, too many bananas. As soon as I severely decreased these and added greens to my smoothies - raw started really working for me. I don't want to go out and eat a whole chicken after eating a pound of grapes. It was that simple.

That is what has made it so excruciating to live in the world as it is - paradixically. I love everything and everyone I see. When that frightens people or when they cannot love, bless them, for whatever reason.....my guts seize up. I feel their contraction in my belly. It has always been thus. When the circuitry between me and other is unbound in that way, their is an endless upward spiral of

to be able to say no cravings. So far so good. I DO know that if I bulldoze over a desire for sonething heavier - that small handfull of pepitos - early afternoon - with a concept of, "Oh no! I SHOULD be doing less fat etc.," I end up in deep doo doo. The thyroid seems to need that protein for now. Maybe one day that will change. For now, it's necessary. But I have decreased my fat amou

102. Ally....
in one post below you mentioned the 4pm time being the most challenging time for you, raw wise. There's a reason for that. Every gland in the body has a time of day when it is strongest - operates at full throttle. And a time when it is recessive - in neutral at best. The thyroid gland is weakest at about 4pm. For those who may have any kind of weakness there, they will start to bottom out, get w

in your yard - wild weed. Do a search. Best plant source of the good Omega's. Free - it grows everywhere. Pull it up and toss it in the blender with the smoothies.

After about ten days of leaving out goitrogens from my diet - which were pretty much the staple, I must report the great news, that I am not falling asleep every time I sit down now. This is amazing, as this had been happening for years. Energy is many times steadier and stronger now. Good news. So for all you thyroidettes, try leaving out the evil offenders. Very thankfully, Piano Gal

I don't know what they all are. I also think lemon juice in water daily is a help. But drink it with a straw to preserve teeth enamel(stevia for sweetness) - it dissolves calcium to all sorts - and thins the blood, by the way, as powerfully as coumadin. My prayers and love are with you. Kidney stone HURT!

ONe of the women who lives in my home LOVES organic gardening. Flowers and such are her "thing." Her private enemy #1 are bunnies. They come and munch on the kingdom she loves so much and puts so much into. She throws rocks at them ( love the animal kingdom!). She has a big circular bed of nasty sturtiums. Yesterday I popped a nasturium leaf in my mouth. OH MY GOD! So peppery, yet sweet

To serve the source of all life by obeying that "still, small, inner voice" in every moment, and to let that, whoch I AM define my actions, feelings, thoughts. Oh, and music, among other things, appears to be an extension of True Being into the world. That's all, PG What about you, Narzzzzz

I"m almost certain of it. AC takes all the negative ions out of the air, if I understand correctly. and ionizer was a Godsend in my decade in LA. when I first moved there, it felt literally as if I had razor blades in my throat - the air was so bad. Yesterday it was 112 degrees outside my home. I'm very glad for the AC at present. Good luck!

Yes, it's possible to get too much ptassium - or anything else. Some people need more potassium. Some, more calcium. It's a continuum. People who are too alkaline tend to need more calcium (I am). People who are too acid - more potassium foods. . Potassium makes me weak.Bananas are wipe-out city for me. Calcium makes me stronger. Do your own experimentation. No one else has your body. Take notes o
